carnish Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 R Ponting at his peak and if the game is played anywhere apart from India.... In India its R Dravid.... cause of Pontings poor record in India
zen Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Both of them are great players with different approach .... I will flip the coin :P
Andrew Peter Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Ponting without an iota of a doubt , would prefer an aggressive batsman coming down at Number 3 over a Tuk Tuk Specialist .
carnish Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Both of them are great players with different approach .... I will flip the coin :P head for whom and tails for whom???
Rajiv Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Dravid will give me the confidence, Ricky will give me the entertainment. Ponting was part of class bowling and team, wouldn't typically be the same if he was playing against them
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 as an indian, its impossible for me to respect ricky plonking. plonking has plonked against india so many times that i have lost count, he basically made a career out of being owned by harbhajan singh and couldnt buy a run on any of austraya's tours of india. plonking is a massive, george bush-lookalike failure. he will eventually finish his career with a batting avg under 50, that is unless cricket austraya put the poor puppy out of his misery before that happens. dravid = class act.

It sounds to me like your hatred for Ponting is affecting your thought process. Ponting has achieved everything there is to achieve in the game and will rightfully go down as one of the games legends. He has nothing left to prove.
Manny_Pacquiao Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 He has nothing left to prove. wrong. 1. test series win in india. never came close. 2. pathetic batting average in india two massive holes in his career. hard to overlook if u are an indian supporter he is a bogan who needs to retire.
Manu80 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 It would be a toss up between Rahul Dravid and Jacque Kallis
Cricket Tragic Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Other names not allowed :cantstop: Viv Richards /thread
