randomGuy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Micromax canvas turbo A250 and Gionee elife E6 are also quite good and the first one costs around 10k less than nexus 5.

Old guy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Micromax canvas turbo A250 and Gionee elife E6 are also quite good and the first one costs around 10k less than nexus 5. seriously there is no comparison between these two ..
randomGuy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Add lenovo k900 into the mix too , ~6k cheaper than nexus 5 - http://m.gsmarena.com/lenovo_k900-5241.php
StriKe Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 ^ Post sample pics of camera if you got from lenovo k900 or else i will never recommend anyone to buy it !
randomGuy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Intex Aqua I7 has 5"-1920X1080 display, 2 GB RAM, 13 mp camera, 32 GB space, selling for around 18k. This multi-touch display has 16million colors support. 5MP front-facing camera for video calling. Dual-sim.
rkt.india Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Intex Aqua I7 has 5"-1920X1080 display' date=' 2 GB RAM, 13 mp camera, 32 GB space, selling for around 18k.[/quote'] These Indian phones are good with their price but they come up with Mediatek quadcore chipset which is no match to Qualcom Snapdragon 800 chipset of Nexus 5. Nexus 5 will also boast optical image stabilization. Build quality will be better too. True HD IPS display will be better as well.
randomGuy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 If one buys Nexus 5 for 33K, one has to pay around 15K meaning 85% extra.
rkt.india Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 If one buys Nexus 5 for 33K' date=' one has to pay around 15K meaning 85% extra.[/quote'] A comparatively better product for those who can afford to pay 15K extra.
Old guy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 If one buys Nexus 5 for 33K' date=' one has to pay around 15K meaning 85% extra.[/quote'] he does not only gets better hardware but class leading software support. you buy an indian/chinese phone and you are stuck with same software with same bugs for ever and nexus 5 at 29 k is perfect price ..you cannot ask for more you get better screen, battery,SOC ..in short everything .. and biggest thing is it is a nexus..:winky:
StriKe Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Took pics from my Samung Galaxy S3 and Karbonn S1 Titanium Specs for Karbonn S1 Titanium http://www.gsmarena.com/karbonn_s1_titanium-5273.php 5 MP, 2592Ñ…1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash From my S3 8MP Camera My old Galaxy mini(3MP) and HTC desire Z(5MP) can take better pics !!! I can prove old mobile from nokia/samsung can take better pics than these karboon and micromax which are selling at lower prices !
randomGuy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 he does not only gets better hardware but class leading software support. you buy an indian/chinese phone and you are stuck with same software with same bugs for ever Valid point but this factor doesn't matter much for me as Android 4.2 or 4.3 is good enough already. and nexus 5 at 29 k is perfect price ..you cannot ask for more you get better screen, battery,SOC ..in short everything .. and biggest thing is it is a nexus..:winky: Sure, Nexus for its brand value. But other than that, I could only see a little difference in battery with aqua i7. Rest of the specs, i7 is equally loaded but 32gb nexus costs 33k, some 15 k more than i7 with same memory n with dual sim. Someone asked about camera. 1 pic(I do not bother to look into settings for clicking better pics) and 1 720p night from my 8mp camera xolo indian/chinese phone worth 9K. For Aqua I7, it has 13 mp camera to make 1080p videos.
Sachin=GOD Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 If one buys Nexus 5 for 33K' date=' one has to pay around 15K meaning 85% extra.[/quote'] not really. In USA the price of 32 GB is $399 - add shipping and taxes and you get something like $450-$460 which is around Rs 27500 whereas you get the same phone (32 GB) for 33k in India so the difference is around Rs 5500. And for 33k you get a phone which will be supported by google for at least 2 years (IMO realistically it would be supported for 3 years) and you get a blazing fast processor and to top it all pure Android.

No.. Samsung galaxy nexus doesn't get 4.4 update because products support periods was only for 18 months.

Old guy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 3 years? No.. Samsung galaxy nexus doesn't get 4.4 update because products support periods was only for 18 months. they have lots of reasons for that one of them being chip is no longer supported by company which created it.. also when it came out it was not the strongest phone but nexus 5 is . also this phone was against the dream of google to create budget phone without careers so it is killed quickly.. now a days each nexus is sold for 2 years (like nexus 4 ) hard ware of nexus 4 is identical to hardware on nexus 7..so both of them will be updated for 2 year's atleast and snapdragon 800 devices for 3 years ..
