Sachin=GOD Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 you are welcome :vroam: :two_thumbs_up: So, when are you getting a new phone?
Old guy Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Bad. Even a mildly heavy day of use means I have to charge at the end of the day while heavy use means I have to charge in the evening. I've bought a portable charger and keep it with me all the time. lets hope improves it but for heavy users nexus will never be enough...people should look for phones like g2 which can get almost tablet like browsing time i have charger in car so my phone lasts me easily but now i have learned that some companies just do not get battery while motorola and lg are much better..even samsung note series is good :hmmm:
Old guy Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 :two_thumbs_up: So, when are you getting a new phone? my cousin brought z2 ....honestly i still like my m7 more :cantstop: i iwll wait for nexus or moto flagship ..if they are good i will go for them but this time i will obviously wont buy expensive flagship

If someone is spending 35k on a phone then he/she can probably spend 2-3k more for a portable charger and live in peace without worrying about battery life.
Yoda-esque Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 do you have low signal ? in india with 3g it can last me day but nothing special m8 is much better but still if battery is not good enough get one of the phones with 3000+ mah battery Am a heavy user and starting at 7:30 am, my battery is out by 3 pm Give me some tips to optimize
Sachin=GOD Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 my cousin brought z2 ....honestly i still like my m7 more :cantstop: i iwll wait for nexus or moto flagship ..if they are good i will go for them but this time i will obviously wont buy expensive flagship Z2 is good........but looks like Z3 is already around the corner with leaks coming thick and fast now. Yeah....now unless someone wants some specific features in LG/Sony/Samsung flagships, there's really no point in buying these when you can get phones like Nexus 5 or Moto X (or its upcoming new version) or even something like Xiaomi etc.

Sachin=GOD Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Meanwhile, Flipkart is down. The message reads: Moto E : Only on Flipkart! This shiny (new) object is attracting a lot of visitors. Hang on while we clear the lines for you... Flipkart's selling Moto E/G like hot cakes. They've already sold more than 1 million of these since launch and the numbers are only going up because of word of mouth. Great to see customers buying these instead of the crap Samsung has in this price range.

Having a phone with good battery life is always great but the better the battery life, the more you will use it so in the end a power bank, at least for me, more or less solves the issue.

Old guy Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 btw...sony has one flagship phone after 6 months but even if they release new my problem is with their software its jsut not good enough
StriKe Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 since he called himself heavy user i do not think this will help much and might make experience bad .. I don't think so all you have to do hibernate heavy apps which depends on background data.. For example -> all games, fb, twitter, chome, drive, file managers, dropbox, shopping apps etc Don't hibernate widgets which you use frequently and clocks, keyboard, messenger, calls which are important.
