MCcricket Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Dinda and Awana similar height , pace wise am not sure, coming from Akash g8 COMPLIMENT.I wish he writes something about promising talents also.
Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 what about shami from looks of it he is genuine wicket taker.. and probably quicker then dinda :hmmm:
MCcricket Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 what about shami from looks of it he is genuine wicket taker.. and probably quicker then dinda :hmmm: First ball Shami bowled in clt20 was 141 k's, so he can touch 150 k's.
achilles Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Dinda is like a young Sreesanth. He will only bowl 140s, not more, not less. So don't look at him only on the count of pace. He looks like skiddy customer and makes a batter hurry onto the stroke. He must be nurtured. So should Awana, if he's like Dinda.
Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 First ball Shami bowled in clt20 was 141 k's' date=' so he can touch 150 k's.[/quote'] umm .. dont know abt 150 i meant atleast in 140's and he got a wonderful seam position so should be handy :two_thumbs_up: its not just pace... we dont need 150 k bowlers we need consistent bowlers who can atleast touch 140.. cos 120 imo is not international class dinda compared with sreesanth :hmmm: they are diff type of bowlers tbh shami looked mroe like sreesanth dinda maybe action wise i cant compare him with any one but the way he bowls.. he is comparable to siddle :P
daryl1985 Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Dinda surely needs to be given a chance soon if he has any chance of succeeding at international level as he is approaching 28.

I'm not sure if he would be good in "hit the deck" like australia or south african conditions. England may be but he leaves less to be desired. Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron are currently the front runners for fast bowling stakes. Not sure where Dinda fits in.
Magneto Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 what about shami from looks of it he is genuine wicket taker.. and probably quicker then dinda :hmmm: I think on less helpful pitches, Shami gets carted around quite often. Needs another season or two to figure out his bowling.
Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 I think on less helpful pitches' date=' Shami gets carted around quite often. He was awesome in the final. That is why his selection should not be hurried with, and he should gain enough experience in terms of conditions, wickets and batsmen of all sorts. An A tour/Emerging Players tournament will also do a world of good for him.

bajrang Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 lol dinda, just beacuse he is taking wicket doesnt mean he has to be nurtured. international player will tonk the hell out of the deliveries coming from a hopping midget.

Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 :hysterical: come on watch the final again.. even though he bowled wrong length in 2 spells in spell in which he got it right he was unplayable!
Crookbond Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 :hysterical: come on watch the final again.. even though he bowled wrong length in 2 spells in spell in which he got it right he was unplayable! This sounds more like the great Ramiz Raja's commentary.
Old guy Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 This sounds more like the great Ramiz Raja's commentary. not saying he bowled badly in first 2 spells lets say pitch was helping and he did what umesh yadav did in australia bowled normal indian length but after 7-8 overs he started pitching it up and got better and better but star of match was def shami also odnt forget his bowling in semi finals :winky: that was some rare match winning performance.. u cant fluke performances like that so consistently
