Parvinder Awana is also bowling really well this season. He is another bowler who can touch 140 Ks and he is the higehst wicket taker now this season. He has played 5 matches taking 26 wickets with best 5/52 in an inning and 8/144 in a match with a good average of 24.11 and a strike rate of 45.0. I saw a bit of him recently in a televised ranji match and I liked his bowling action and was swinging the ball away from the batsmen. Dont know about that match, but he went up to low 140s against UP, dont exactly remember the match. I was just checking the scorecard of Ranji round V and came across that he is the highest wicket taker this season. I would say he is certainly better than Mithun. Do not why he has not been picked by Delhi Daredevils where Sangwans and Narwal's there. I was surprised to see his good bowling action and swing away from the batsman.

I have seen him bowl a few times, a trier, his speed was 125 k's, he is short , moves the ball, did not appear to have pace, couple of times I saw him.Right now Gony, Dinda, Nechim to me are a level higher then our domestic bowlers for sure.

Also he is the first Captain in the history of Kerala cricket to lead them to an all time high of 3rd place in the Plate division. Maybe he can even be acting field captain under Veeru while Veeru takes his breaks. :--D

I watched the Delhi's Ranji match against TN and he was mostly in 128-135 range.He touched 140k a few times but not really pacy.Probably similar to RP Singh in terms of pace. Bowled really well though and probably if not for Delhi slip fielders awful catching he might have picked a lot more wickets.
