Who among the Big 3 should retire first?

As long as they average around 50 (in the series going forward), keep up their fitness, and, are playing their roles in the bating order they should continue and I dont see anyone asking them to step down as long as they keep doing that. OR They feel they have achieved enough and there are actually new players who can do the same(50+ in all series going forward) and take up the resposibility. Then, I feel they would retire or they would be asked to step down. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, as long as any new player gets a chance and does not perform consistently ; I dont see anyone asking the 3 to step down . And I feel they will be allowed to step down on thier own terms. And I dont see this happening atleast till end of next year. Maybe Laxman will be the first as he is the one who is not as fit as the other 2.

Yeah Dravid should retire first. He is the best in form test batsman in this team. He should lead the way.
Looking at the performances and commitment in the last few series(remember england), I think he should be the last one to retire.

All three must simultaneously retire. Preferably after some huge series:dance:
except England,OZ and SA i dont see any huge series.. i dont think they have to prove anyhting against other Minnows :winky:

Hard to tell at this point. All depends on how the Aussie tour goes plus how well each one of the three will hold up and also does individually. Fitness/Injury wise RD is like an iron man. If that is the criterion I will place my bet on RD to go last. Let us see. Interesting next 6 weeks that will tells us how the big three will shape up going forward.

Since Sachin is the one who brings crowds to stadiums and eyeballs to TVs' date=' he should be the last to retire[/quote'] i guess even without Sachin IPL worked fine in First edition
