vamos_rafa Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Then bring back Mongia and make Viru or whoever the captain. Mongia can score centuries and all that' date= I guess. Dinesh or Nayan? :hmmm:

vamos_rafa Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 this thread is a :fail: without a poal. Poll or no poll, no one can save this thread now.
Magneto Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Dinesh or Nayan? :hmmm: Dinesh never kept wickets I guess :winky:
chainsmoker Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Dinesh or Nayan? :hmmm: Shalini Mongia- Licensed Marriage Family Therapist :giggle: http://www.shalinimongia.com/
BERGKAMP Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Decision should be put on hold until after the 2 warm up games. Whoever performs better should get the chance on Boxing Day.
Lord Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Virat defintely.Rohit has just started to be consistent.that too against WI.let him establish himself n ODIs first.Kohli is defintely better atm
vamos_rafa Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Dinesh never kept wickets I guess :winky: Yes, but he was also a #7 specialist in ODIs. And as per the people on this forum, MSD is a joke of a keeper who can be replaced by any Nayan, Dinesh or Shalini (Mongia)

And then we can use some of our Oakley-wearing, gum-chewing, venom-spewing ultratalented young players to throttle the kangaroos in their own backyard.
cowboysfan Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The guy who scores in the tour matches should play the first test kohli is basically a rookie.

chainsmoker Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 The guy who scores in the tour matches should play the first test kohli is basically a rookie. Australia is already struggling to find quality bowlers for these test matches against India. All of their main or upcoming bowlers are injured. So, I don't think scoring against second or third string bowlers counts that much. Australia has already gone to their second defence bowlers i.e. Pattinson and Starc coz Mitchell Johnson, Cummins and others are injured
bulbul Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 The guy who scores in the tour matches should play the first test kohli is basically a rookie. Kohli hit couple of 50"s against WI in last match..so i guess he is having more chance unless Rohith hit a Double..
Number Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Virat Kohli. He deserves a chance first. If he fails then Rohit. Raina should play , if you just decide based on a series in WI.
chainsmoker Posted December 14, 2011 Author Posted December 14, 2011 Virat Kohli. He deserves a chance first. If he fails then Rohit. Raina should play , if you just decide based on a series in WI. Raina is not even in the squad. And there is ony 1 vacant place i.e. no 6 spot. So, only one can come in
BERGKAMP Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Imagine this.. We are 90-4 after lunch on day 1 of boxing day test. Ball is whizzing past the helmets with a bit of lateral movement also, Dravid is at the crease just about surviving, who do you want to walk in ?? RS or VK ??
ganeshran Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Virat played responsibly in the Mumbai Test, so dropping him would be harsh. He will play in the Boxing day test match. Rohit will also get a chance in the series I guess
