Aussie squad of 13:-Michael Clarke (capt),Ed Cowan,David Warner,Shaun Marsh, Ricky Ponting,Michael Hussey,Daniel Christian,Brad Haddin,Peter Siddle,James Pattinson,Ben Hilfenhaus,Mitchell Starc,Nathan Lyon.Marsh is a doubtful starter for the 1st test & chances of him missing the contest is pretty high.

Obviously. Most of their batsmen are searching for form add to that their reasonably weak bowling lineup. But how will it end up if India manages to beat Aus?

weakest , i would say they had some pretty weak sides in the late 70s (PAcker series) and the 80s. This squad is the weakest for the past 20 years. If its weak enough for india to beat is another issue. I would say looking at Indian squads to Aus in 2003 and 2008 our side is certainly in much better shape even on a bowling front on paper.

on paper yes .. on fitness.. NO :(( well this time in first game we might see our best 2 bowlers break down if that happens we will lose first match would take replacement 1 more match to adjust by that time series is already lost lol

In Warner and Pattinson, they have got more than fair replacements for those two. Also, Jhonson not being there is a positive for them too, was utterly rubbish in SA and SL.

Its not a great squad by any means, no, but in home conditions they have more than enough quality to beat us. We don't have a single fit and reliable bowler - Zaheer is class but his fitness is extremely dodgy, and the others are just not that good or inexperienced.

Bullshiiit, You Never Play Against A Weak Australian Team. Whether they have mostly new-comers, but it will be a heck of a challenge to beat them. Australian standards of Cricket are always high

I honestly dont think that calling this aussie side the weakest in 20 years is off the mark. Its not overconfidence to say that. Many in the aussie media have called them just that. But to say that the indian team is much stronger than the aussie team is over confidence. I can honestly see England easily retaining the ashes when Aus come over regardless of what the result is for this series.

I don't think there is any question England are going to be dominant at home for quite some time now, looking at their amazing fast bowling depth. Big question is whether they can do it away from home consistently, particularly in the subcontinent.
