Nobody was calling for Dravids head either while he was averaging 20 at a breathtaking S/R of 33 with a grand total of 120 runs in the SAF series ( where he was a b!tch to everybody ) prior to the England Test series ... yet the resident head lunatic here is pissing away imagining things in his mind and the herd here is thinking that it is raining. The herd mentality of posters here is truly sickening. BTW Tendulkar scored 271 runs in a series where he was a b!tch to Anderson and Broad as compared to the 120 by his Jaminess.

But we're not asking for Tendulkar to be dropped, at least prof isn't suggesting that and i never have; we're just questioning the logic behind making the scapegoat out of Dravid based on the first test. Its not just Tendulkar, one could pick any player and figure out a bad series based on which he should be dumped.

Not that i'm defending prof, but i agree with what he said below. Do you disagree that Dravid has performed better than Sachin in 2011 away tests ?

The point is simple - to highlight the blatant double standards people hold with regards to Tendulkar. My stance is that I think both are good enough to play at the international level' date= but what I see is there are calls about Dravid losing his "touch", when all facts point to Tendulkar having become a walking wicket for the opposition in the last 5 away and difficult tests we've played, while Dravid has scored centuries in 3 out of those 5.

One could compare the tests they played together outside India in 2011 or one could compare Dravid's performance vs Laxman as well for the respective games. The point is not who deserves the boot, its whether Dravid is seriously out of form/cancer/selfish as is suggested, especially when compared to the rest of the seniors.

Where were you when he was saving our collective asses in England? I dont recollect reading any of your post when he played one of the BEST made 100 in recent times against West Indies in the 1st test. However, all it took was one slip in the 2nd innings, (For eff's sake, the dude actually made a 50 in the 1st innings) for you to go on your opportunistic rants. I dont if you realize it yet, but these are beginning VERY VERY lame.
