Is the era of Fast Bowling coming back?

No Finn is not a genuine quick bowler,he relies more on bounce & movement off the deck by hitting the deck hard.He has pace around 130-142ks & mid 130s most off the time.So he's a Fast-medium bowler though a very fine one.
Is this a joke.....i think in the complete list, he is the only one who can hit 150 consistently.....recently concluded ODI series, average speed of Finn was more than yadav...

interesting to see Marchant Da Lange already considered next big thing. LOL
He is already a big hit in South Africa. May be in India we might not know about him as yet. But, you will see the change, when India will play South Africa. He bowls with only 10 steps run-up, the run-up equal to Anil Kumble. It is amazing to see how he generates so much speed with such short run-up

Add Nuwan Pradeep of Srilanka' date='plus Malinga only plays ODIs & T20s.[/quote'] That doesn't matter mate. You have included. That's enough. Vaise, I dont think, Nuwan Pradeep has the capability to bowl 90 mph +

finn is quick but ydav increased his speed and in test matches its totally diff game,, but he is very good no question abt it england has best pace attack
Yea true England has the best pace attack at the moment, But India is far behind now. India has a leader in Zak, tall quickie in Ishant and genuine fast bowler in Umesh Yadav who go to 150 k + as well. We have Varun Aaron in reserve as well who can also go upto 150 k +. And second point England has not proved themselves in India or sub-continent as yet. They will be coming for test matches in India, then we will be able to see

What are you talking about? Did you not watch the recent ODI series? Pretty much every ball was over 90 MPH.

I think of these all fast bowlers India has the best pace attack at the moment. I am talking about quality with experience. Zaheer, Ishant and Umesh all are high quality pacers. Then we have Sreesanth and RP and Varun Aaron in reserve too :yay::yay:

Oh yes I forgot about Dinda. Sorry. Man, I think there were always enough fast bowlers in India in the past as well. It is just that now time is changing and we are looking to find new and new fast bowlers and giving them opportunity. Otherwise, you see in a country of 1 billion, there will definitely be some guys who can bowl fast. It is just impossible that in a country of 1 billion, there won't be any fast bowlers

Oops I forgot to mention Sudeep Tyagi here who can bowl around 140 k consistently. He has also said in many interviews that his main focus always remains on maintaining a genuine speed. here is vid of his [ame=

According to reports, James Pattinson today touched 153 k which is absolutely awesome. Is there any possibility that anyone out of the above mentioned bowlers or any other new upcoming bowlers will be able to touch 100 mph in future

Its like a silent competition going on, who will produce more no of fast bowlers. And the good part is, these are not the only bowlers, there are many more in every teams domestic line up who can bowl fast. I was reading somewhere that WI also have some tall very fast quickies in their domestic circuit like Brendon Bass. I can see even Bangladesh producing 140+ bowler.
