Iconoclast Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The spotlight has been on Goddie but India's enemy number 1 might be stealing his thunder tomorrow. I think talunt wise Tendu is better than forgotten man Punter ... buttah the question is who can handle the pressure better. What do you people think ? Plz make poal.

Is Bucknor back as an Aussie batsman :nervous:
Iconoclast Posted January 3, 2012 Author Posted January 3, 2012 Is Bucknor back as an Aussie batsman :nervous: If only that was so ... BCCI might reconsider their stance on UDRS :giggle:
Ultimate_Game Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 If only that was so ... BCCI might reconsider their stance on UDRS :giggle: BCCI won't. It's more of an ego issue now and they won't back down no matter what. Other boards, particularly ECB and CA, will have to find a face saving option for BCCI to come on board... something on the lines of "we agree with BCCI's position that DRS tchnology such as hot spot and ball tracking is not 100% so we are all for implementing DRS without the same and using just the replays and pitch mat" This would provide BCCI a face saving option to get on board. I am surprised ECB and CA haven't done so till now and they are more keen to rub it in to BCCI which is never gonna work. After all you don't tell your boss he's wrong, you just make it sound that the right idea came from him
SachDan Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 hey paki, law of averages makes me think the adopted paki :punter: who hasn't scored a test ton in the last 34 innings (yep that's a long rope for any International player let alone for so called "ruthless" Aussies) to get one first.
Ultimate_Game Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 hey paki' date=' law of averages makes me think the adopted paki :punter: who hasn't scored a test ton in the last [b']34 innings (yep that's a long rope for any International player let alone for so called "ruthless" Aussies) to get one first. But he's still showing up this series when he needed to. He may not get 100s but he's getting 60s & 70s quite consistently. Hell we haven't managed to get him out cheaply even once :banghead:
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 :punter: 100 coming up tomorrow. Tendu has looked nice but can't help getting out.

Well fellow Paki, there is no better way for a batsman to get back into form than to face India :P
Ultimate_Game Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Well fellow Paki' date=' there is no better way for a batsman to get back into form than to face India :P[/quote'] That's quite true :cantstop: I can think of so many examples where we have made average players look like legends or when we allowed the players on the verge of being dropped get back into form. I guess it's Ponting's turn now.
Clarke Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 The spotlight has been on Goddie but India's enemy number 1 might be stealing his thunder tomorrow. Why is punter India's enemy #1 ? We were accused of plotting the attack on SL team in 2009, of forcing Amir/Asif accept bribes by ignoring them for IPL & of tweaking UDRS in the WC semis by you guys and that's just cricket. Is having Dartbhajan get his wicket fair & square something worse than that ?
Karan114 Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Well fellow Paki' date=' there is no better way for a batsman to get back into form than to face India :P[/quote'] Except your sorry country, which got their arses kicked out of the World Cup by those very same Indian bowlers :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

akshayxyz Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Now you have added the beard, chances of him scoring a 100 tomorrow have doubled.. going buy the way beards did wonders to Amla/YP etc.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Countdown to Punter Ton Chewtiya will have an added incentive today to make triple figures after Kallis marathon. Our bowlers will aid him on his way while Tendulkar has tough ride :finger:
Ultimate_Game Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Make a thread for Clarke as well. I think we are in for a double whammy today.
Dravid_TheWall Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 FFS Yadav is off colour today. Ashwin isn't effective. Ishant is Ishant  I thought we would make a comeback today. We are in serious trouble now :(
