I would never call them cowards' date=' it's their approach to situations..that's the whole arguement here...[b']some of us have the.."how dare you" attitude, some are like "who cares"
Kohli isn't one of us, he's one of the best batsmen we have and considered by some as a future captain. Do you fancy any of our country's representatives behave like he did because someone cursed at him ? Should he continue doing that next time the crowd gets naughty ? Would you recommend this kind of attitude from our PM, who also is a Punjabi ? After all, he shouldn't take **** from anyone. What's that saying, with great power comes great R E S P O N S I B I L I T Y

Are you ten years old? No really? ever been to a cricket match in India? the kind of abuse and racist rants by the Indian crowd is something found no-where in the world. How on earth can you control nameless crowd from shouting? The kind of reaction the indian team has given shows a team in shambles. the only way to keep the crowd quiet is by good performances. Kohli's reaction is exactly the kind of reaction the crowd enjoys because it gives them a joker to watch Mark my words, from now on, Kohli is going to be heckled in all countries of the world. There are precedents in football. Crowd has found a bunny who reacts to them and provides entertainement Cricketers are ambassadors of their nations and Kohli represnets India in an Indian t-shirt. the crowd is nameless. Heck, if I was in the crowd and had got Kohli to react in this way, i would have laughed my head of and bragged to all my friends. The crowd got exactly what it wanted, got a joker to react and got entertained
C'mon MTC' date=' [b']why should anyone take shyt from some losers in the crowd, crowds who taunt players are the biggest cowards & they deserve a middle finger bcoz they know they are huddled in a bunch and nobody can harm them :headshake: I know wat you mean, I wish they had replied like the way UV did to Flintoff, well young blood..bound to happen :icflove:
U_S - I am also all for not taking shyte and giving it back, but this is not the stage. As MTC said above (in bold) - that is the biggest reason players are better off staying quiet. And if one is able to reply with solid performance, reputation just grows manifolds, and that is the only way to shut the crowd forever, and even mentally prepare them to give standing ovation in future.

WTF mental pressure' date=' if someone said mc bc to you, would you have sympathy on the person and say.."it's ok" :hysterical: what a pus sy-hearted approach that would be...bloody shyites[/quote'] ok so what about Kohli saying MC, BC after taking a catch - who had provoked him then??

BTW' date=' some kids here think that its a breave thing to react to abuses. [b']Actually its the easiest and most juvenile thing to react to abuses. Thats why you will find mostly teenagers reacting. Its because they are not strong enough to control themselves The most bravest and difficult thing to do is to control oneself under provocations. Thats why you will see on the street mostly jahils, immoral people and kids who react aggresively. A true man is not so insecure as to be provoked.
Completely agree. Kohli has some fine role models in the form of Goddy, Dravid, Laxman etc but it seems as if he's adamant not to follow in their path.

Well done Ishant and Kohli too ! But, my advise would only be, don't get caught on the camera next time. Respect your fans who respects you but people who are hurling bad things at you and saying sh*t, keep giving them back. But, in a smarter way. You'll learn that with experience. Our support will always be there with you. Its OK you r young, it happens :two_thumbs_up: And for that matter, I'd also support Sreesanth and Bhajji as well who used to give it back to the Australians

Bhajii was subjected to even harsher sledging in australia after monkey gate but he handled it pretty well.Ishant is learning all the bad things ,Now everybody is going to target them.

:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: You think the likes of Ishant and Kohli could give a toss about the senior players? They are multi millionaires already despite not achieving a fraction of what the senior players have and as we're seeing on this thread, there are some queing up to defend their disgraceful behavior. Kohli swore at an Indian umpire in the ODI series against WI but nothing happened so he has carried on in his arrogant way. End of the day the captain of a side should be keeping these people in check but the Indian captain has no control over his team. Four years ago, Kumble showed exemplary leadership in a genuine crisis situation for the side - the contrast with Dhoni is stark.

Man, thats a typical northie style of not giving answer in a straight forward manner (sid-pudra jawaab na dena), don't take that seriously. He just said that in funny way LOL. And Stop Whining all of you guys pl. Its irritating. Even rakhi sawant don't whines as much as you guys do. You should be ashamed. :haha: I know Virat is lil over aggressive but if he was so wrong, team management would have thrown him out of the team a long time back. Instead, team mgt. is looking him as a future prospect for the tests too. So, what the hell are you people whining about

if there is a whining i am seeing that from Middle finger supporters..what he done is plain wrong , only you people are whining by supporting that and asking whats wrong in that... Its time you people understood he is not good enough to manage himself...when sreesanth can be targeted why not Kohli...
