Cricketics Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 -All Indian players should come out and pull out from Sri Lankan tour. They don't have the deadliest of tracks which will teach us some batting skills that we keep going there for odi's. - Start the Ranji season early instead of having crap challenger trophy(The India A, India b, India C series)What's the use really when you don't pick anyone from there. 4 matches in 4 days. All B.S. - As Rajiv mentioned, reduce the ipl. - The Important one - Dhoni should lead either ODI or Test side. Reduce his workload. Need to have different captains.
Yoda-esque Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 All of the above. Fletch has got to go.We need a coach that leads by example and is a bit hands on..I believe our players have compromised on their work ethic. I admit Outsider was right when he mentioned about Dhoni not being a test player. He needs to be dropped.Get KKD in. SRT has a max of 1 year.Needs to be told in no uncertain words to play his natural game.100 100s be damned. Rahane,Sharma, Pujara need to come in place of Gambhir, Kohli and VVS. Sehwag needs to be dropped for 6 months Or so. He needs these periodic kicks . All in all , a major shakeup required. As Clemenza says , it gets rid of the bad blood
Texy Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 I would definitely like the team NOT TO EVER WATCH ANY SHAHRUKH KHAN movies while on tour they thought they were Don too and OZs wouldn't be able to catch them

Sachin=GOD Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 IPL is for 30-45 days depending on which team you are in. How do 12-16 three hour games over a period of 45 days 'tire' our cricketers. Isn't the IPL in itself rest enough? Blaming IPL is pretty lame, IMO. Just a convenient scapegoat. India is not the only nation that has a domestic T20 competition. England does. So does Aus. If this T20 is tiring excuse were to hold true, their players would be 'tired' too. its not just that the players are tired. The exorbitant price tags put on very young cricketers motivates them to concentrate on the shorter version of the game. Also, putting in a tournament of around 50 days in the middle of the domestic calender severely disrupts the schedule for the entire season and as a result there are less number of days between Domestic matches which results in young domestic players (especially bowlers) not getting much needed rest between matches. Also, the number of injuries in one single edition of the IPL far surpass the number of injuries that players sustain in many tournaments combined. and most importantly TONTEE TONTEE IS TAMASHA :--D
