Things swing in sport, look at WI, dominant for 20 years Aus dominant for 15 India never really been dominant, but have flicked in and out of best side over the last ten years. They are not. W/L s boosted by loads of minnow bashing in the 30s. If you take a format like ODIs which were introduced when we had found our feet we have a better h2h record. I'm sure if you even take test records since say 1970s it'll be a lot even.

Be fair to Irish players we are pretty much a group of small islands in alliance (see recent $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ bail out by Uk of Sothern Ireland) They are pretty British, surely you do not resent us casting our net fifty miles, when you have so many to chose from?

I just disagree with the selection process. It robs Ireland of their best player and reduces their chances of ever becoming a rest nation. I live in England and they are my 2nd favourite team, i support them when they don't play India but their selection policy has put me off them.
