Sachin=GOD Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 Dates: Feb 8, 11, 15, 19, 23, 28 (the 1st phase was scheduled for Feb 4th but has been rescheduled due to "Barawafat" festival and new dates will be announced soon). Major parties - BSP, SP, BJP, Congress. Spoilsports - Ajit Singh (RLD), Kalyan Singh, Dr Ayub (Peace Party). Biggest Newsmakers - sadly the biggest newsmakers so far have been politicians with criminal record. My prediction: SP BSP BJP Congress (positions of SP & BSP may interchange but the difference in the number of seats they get will be quite small). Unless something dramatic happens in the next few days, no party will get close to the majority and there will be a coalition Govt IMO.

Mamta, Behenji & Amma becoming PM on a rotational basis.. :two_thumbs_up:

Such a coalition cannot survive even a few months simply because of the clash of giant egos (Mamata, Maya and Amma) - 3 of the most powerful and eccentric politicians of our country can never ever remain together.

She is doing a good job of cleaning up the mess left by DMK. The problem is she is making a bigger mess already than DMK has managed in 5 years.Put it this way she has earned more anger from voters with her goof ups in 6 months than DMK had managed in 5 years. The messing up of "Samachir Kalvi" issue (mainly due to her stupid stubborn ego) , Anna Library building, Price rise in bus charge Milk electricity (DMK didnt increase price of any of these even once in last 5 years) and the riots in southern Tamil nadu all have made more bad impact than u can say about DMK in last 5 years.TBH the only issue she handled well so far has been the Mullai Periyar dam issue.Almost everything else has been a screw up. Infact overall the DMK rule was pretty much the best 5 year period we had since MGR time.Even if it wasnt much to write home about it didnt earn any bad reviews mostly.But the real issue they lost was due to Heir politics mainly btw Azhagiri (Central minister) and Sun network and coalition strength.Not because of bad administration .And she has already abandoned all her coalition partners again due to her ego. Amma is making the same mistakes she did when came to power in 2001 and then she promptly lost in all 40 lok sabha seats humiliatingly in 2004 elections.She simply is not learning from her mistakes unfortunately :facepalm: Personally I always preferred her to Karunanidhi even if both are corrupt to the core because law and order is always far better during her time than DMK reign which is the same case now too.But unfortunately that won't get her many votes.
