Sachin=GOD Posted March 7, 2012 Author Posted March 7, 2012 Does anyone here thinks Rahul Gandhi, If he had said that he will remain in UP all his life(atleast promised) and contested as Congressional CM for UP candidate, Will there be any shift in UP voters mind? No. Rahul Gandhi is a crowd puller but the people who come to listen to him usually don't vote for him. People here know that he's a fake so they don't vote for Congress led by him. Even if he is made the CM candidate it will change nothing.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Even as SP is preparing to take power in UP, Gundaraaj has started in different cities (Sitapur, Agra, Saifai etc)..................sign of things to come :hmmm:
Sachin=GOD Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 there's this blog on Hindustan Times called "Dabs & Jabs". Some of its cartoons are brilliant:

Yesterday there was a TV footage...... Mulayam Crowd and karyakarataa:::: Mulayam Singh pradhanmantri!!! Mulayam Singh pradhanmantri!!! Mulayam Singh pradhanmantri!!!....... (Mulayam Singh for Prime Minister) Mulayam Singh to the crowd: Aaplog kuchh anushaashan dikhayenge to to kuchh banoongaa (If You guys show discipline then only something can happen) :hysterical: He is not sure what to do with his party workers
Sachin=GOD Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Akhilesh to be the new CM. IMO this is a mistake. Governing UP is not child's play and Akhilesh has no experience at all of running any sort of a Govt. He will struggle with his own family members/senior party members like Shivpal Yadav and Azam Khan. Also, he will have a hard time controlling the young SP workers throughout the state - they have already started creating a ruckus in the state. MSY should have been the CM with Akhilesh as Deputy CM for 2-3 years and then after gaining sufficient experience working under MSY, Akhilesh should've become CM in 2-3 years.

I think it's a shrewed ploy. If anything goes wrong, it can be blamed to his 'inexperience'. If things get well (Mulayam is only a phone call away, he's not losing control), he'll be credited. No matter how much Azam, Shivpal etc. jump, they know very well that they themselves have no future away from MSY.. Look what happened to Amar Singh & Jayaprada.. :giggle:

MSY offered him the position of Speaker of Vidhan Sabha but he refused and will become a powerful minister. MSY tried to ignore him in Lok Sabha 2009 and results were not god for SP so since his comeback, his clout has further increased in the party. SP has got such a formidable majority that the young workers throughout the state will be on a high and will try to take revenge from the BSP workers for the 5 years of hardships they've faced - in such a scenario an experienced, senior figure lke MSY is needed to control things otherwise it won't be long before the public will be disillusioned with the SP and that will result in big losses for SP in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Well..many parties will like them to 'fail' (including BJP) and will do whatever possible for that eventuality.. For me in 2014, there should either be NDA or 3rd front.. Can't fathom another 5 years term for UPA..

For me in 2014, there should either be NDA or 3rd front.. Can't fathom another 5 years term for UPA.. Looking at the recent assembly election results, Corruption in the Central Govt seems to have taken a toll on Kangress both in Punjab and in Uttrakhand so the only thing NDA needs to do is to make sure that corruption as an issue remains relevant and BJP will automatically gain advantage at the cost of the Congress Party. UPA 2 has failed to deliver on almost all fronts so unless they achieve something dramatic in the next 2 years, I don't see how they can comeback to power. Another thing which is sure to go against UPA is that most probably Rahul Gandhi will be the PM candidate in 2014 and whether Congress accepts it or not, that will be the biggest liability for UPA.

That's a very important point. I don't see MMS continueing after 2014 (age & health will be main issues). PM candidate for UPA will be ahuge concern, unless Chidu Mama relents and allows Pronob Da to become the PM. Rahul has missed the bus. Priyanka might be paratrooped and could be in the PM race..

Priyanka might be paratrooped and could be in the PM race..[/quote'] Pranab Da will never become PM. If Sonia Gandhi wanted to make him PM she would have done it in 2004 itself because even though MMS is the PM, its Pranab Mukherjee who has been the troubleshooter for the Govt on all important issues and he's the most experienced leader of the party. But I've heard this many times that she will never let him be the PM because he was one of the leaders who early on opposed Rajiv Gandhi as PM and was in favor of someone more experienced - don't know whether this is true or not but that what I've heard. Also, in 2014 he will be nearly 80 years old so I think he will call it a day to his illustrious career. I think Rahul Gandhi will be the PM candidate in 2014 BUT that will be his one and only shot at the post of Prime Minister. If he succeeds then good for him (and bad for the country!!!) but if he fails then definitely someone else (most probably Priyanka Gandhi, who IMO is much better as a Politician than Rahul) will be projected.
ganeshran Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 ya, the Gandhi family doesn't trust Pranab completely although they acknowledge his status as a senior politician. He was expelled from the party once because he didnt support Rajiv Thats why he isnt being made Home minister even though Chidambaram is more suited to the Finance portfolio
Sachin=GOD Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 ^:agree: he has had every single important portfolio in the Govt except Home Ministry because its said that Home Ministry is given to the most trustworthy person.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 15, 2012 Author Posted March 15, 2012 Today's oath taking ceremony of Akilesh Yadav was said to be the most unorganized and chaotic in the history of UP. Immediately after he took the oath, some people broke all security barriers to come on the stage and they broke the table and the mike that was used during the oath taking ceremony. The unruly crowd misbehaved with almost all the prominent people who were invited (including the family of MSY). I said this before and I'll say this again - MSY has made a huge mistake by making such an inexperienced politician the CM. Akhlish doesn't know his way around the corridors of power and the senior IAS/PCS officers and seniors minsters/party members will make him him go round and round and round until he and his Govt looses its way. I predict one of the worst administrations in the history of this state. p.s. Raja Bhaiya has been made a Cabinet Minister - a sign of things to come....
Sachin=GOD Posted March 19, 2012 Author Posted March 19, 2012 Raja Bhaiya has been made minister in charge of prisons..........GundaRaaj ki Jai Ho:adore:

Sachin=GOD Posted March 20, 2012 Author Posted March 20, 2012 :WTF: UP have a minister for prisons? and its non other than Mafia Don Raja Bhaiya :giggle:
Sachin=GOD Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Mulayam blasts sonÃÔ government for 39th time His fatherÃÔ stance is causing intense embarrassment to Akhilesh Yadav Ministers are involved in corruption and I know exactly who is doing what. If the ministers do not perform, they will face the consequences. The bureaucracy is involved in a conspiracy to sabotage the government and officers are not listening to us, they will pay the price. Ministers are not listening to party workers and I have been getting complaints about this. They are more involved in transfers and postings. I am not satisfied with the government and Akhilesh should take note of this. These are not statements made by any Opposition party in Uttar Pradesh. Such statements are made by Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav almost every second day when he addresses workers at the party's state headquarters in Lucknow. This week, for the 39th time in the past seven months, SP president Mulayam Singh Yadav lashed out against son Akhilesh Yadav's government. "The bureaucracy is not being reined in and we will have to remove all district magistrates and police chiefs in the state to tone up the administration," he said on Wednesday. Senior UP minister Mohd Azam Khan went a step further and announced that the government must wield the stick to make officers toe the line. And all this after Mulayam Singh gave his son's government 10 on 10 marks in June. His father's stance is causing intense embarrassment to the Chief Minister, who can neither accept nor reject Mulayam's allegations. On the other hand, it is leaving the party cadres as well as the common man completely puzzled. "We do not know if Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav, as he is known in party circles) has some reason to do this, but his repeated criticism of the Akhilesh government is sending out a very wrong message. He is our mentor and should advise and criticise in private and not in public," said a senior minister. Another young minister in the Akhilesh government said that the "Netaji" was trying the patience of the Chief Minister: "It was Netaji who saddled the Akhilesh government with 'uncles' and if they are not performing, the Chief Minister is not even allowed to check them. Even the officers in the CM's Secretariat report to Netaji instead of the CM. How long can one expect Akhilesh to lead his father's army and that too, without any powers?" Meanwhile, a Mulayam aide said that the latter was deliberating criticising the Akhilesh government to checkmate the resentment among party workers and divert the attention of the people from the lapses being committed by the government. "It is better that Netaji vents his ire rather than the party cadres showing their resentment. That is why he meets thousands of party workers every day and listens to their woes at the party office. People's expectations have sky-rocketed and it is not possible to satisfy everyone so soon. Netaji is playing a psychological game with the party workers," he confided. http://www.sunday-guardian.com/news/mulayam-blasts-sons-government-for-39th-time :cantstop:
