manoj fought better, landed cleaner punches, even though stalker threw more. stalker kept dropping the hands and got caught several times, though he landed a few soft ones on the inside that probably scored... the margin for the first 2 rounds were ridiculous, 7-4, lol...i had it as 4-4 evens, maybe 5-4 at a push. i thought manoj had that 2nd for sure. i had no hope for this fight though, the home town guy was always gonna go through no matter what. these brit scumbags have been getting favours from the judges throughout this tournament, and the crowd was behind him. manoj could have had a bunch of knockdowns and would have still failed to get even with the judges against this hometown guy

as expected .. IMO its would for better good to remove boxing from olympics with such farce scoring system .Its not at all transparent .We've no clue who and why is getting what points . I've been following boxing since 2000 Sydney Olympics ,and everytime some way or the other our boxers are met with injustice .

Don't know much of rules on boxing.. but that Brit guy looked to be running for the cover most of the time.. yet he won!!
this has been happening throughout the olympics man, the other brits have gotten away with worse... i just knew this would happen, no matter how well manoj fought, he was never gonna get his points against a brit fighter. the scoring system and the format is fine IMO (though it will change in rio 2016), the problem is with the judges. the judges are the ones that need to be held accountable. the scoring works fine if you have judges that know what they are doing

London: Following is the schedule of events involving Indian athletes at the Olympic Games Sunday. Boxing Women`s 51 kg: MC Mary Kom vs Karolina Michalczuk (Poland) Hockey Men`s: India vs South Korea:hehe: Shooting Men`s trap: Manavjit Singh Sandhu
I think we all knew the dire state of Indian hockey. But I thought having qualified for the Olympics after 8 year absence, maybe they have improved and would be capable of competing on the astros at last. But it's been a real losing battle from the Indian hockey team. It's a good way to experience how Bangladesh cricket fan goes through their emotions.

Totally agreed man. The helplessness of the Indian contingent is breaking my heart. These a**h***s deserve something like a BCCI. :((

Just saw the replay of devendro's bout' date='the guy is really something. He was almost running after his opponent, looks good for a medal[/quote'] I was surprised his opponent was a Beijing Silver medalist. Devendro made him look like a rookie. Loved the bout, total ruthless dominance. :icflove:
