Some more information on boxing. Vijender is actually facing the guy who won (controversially) against Sangwan in Round 32. Abbos Atoev has not all been convincing and in my books this should be another medal for India. Mary Kom faces Maroua who is not ranked by AIBA. Maroua is taller but I still feel Magnificent Mary shall prevail. My gut feeling - India booking at least two assured medals.

Are you sure? Sangwan fought in the 81 KG category, Vijender and Atoev are boxers in the 75 KG category.

^so sandhu qualified ?
I think he has two more qualification rounds before the final. So far I think he's got 71 (?) out of 75. He has 50 more shots. Doubtful though, since only 6 qualify and he's sort of holding the rear up.

Gagan Narang: Gagan shoots 99 in 4th series. Total-398 (out of 400). He finishes 3rd. Narang qualifies for the final. Only top 8 shooters go to the final. All the shooters would carry their qualification points to the final. The final of Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions starts at 5:45 pm (India Time).
