You can take seven successive away losses however you want. I'm pretty sure that's been done before. But the nature of them and what has transpired during individual day's play must be unprecedented? How many days over this series and in England has the bowling attack completely capitulated in the face of positive early batting and got an absolute pasting for 100+ overs. How many times have we seen the domino theory in effect on India's batting order. There is an inherent lack of mental strength there. Or is it that they can't be arsed? I am really not seeing any evidence that players are willing to stick to their tasks here and at least fight it out. People lamenting Dhoni's captaincy seem to get what they wanted today with lasting attacking fields...what happened? We can't pretend there haven't been changes since England either. Sreesanth, Harbhajan, Mishra, Praveen Kumar are not here. The same is occurring. How is this remedied purely with sweeping changes. Australia has the raw material of seam bowlers there, but their most crucial tactic has been sticking to plans and giving it their all. Same with England.

That is indicative that India have already conceded this series :facepalm:

They were not at the WACA for sure. Sledged about their batting averages, Kohli and Ishant defended the Indian batting unit by telling the Australia openers it would be a different story when they came to India. One can only hope the whole India side does not think that way because it suggests they have already conceded this contest. The players know that there is such a huge passion for the game in India and that it is largely from younger people. In other countries the watchers of Cricket have so many other sports to choose from that it is not the number 1 sport and so the fans you see supporting cricket in UK, Aus and SA are more old school die hard cricket enthusists and former players of the game. Our teams want to win at home, buit we value away wins far more it appears than Indian fans do. We expect our test team to win abroad, India seems more bothered about home
