Dhonuts Dhoni Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: You also have to play series in India too where you have failed to win matches in the last two series. Also I think there's a certain England on top. Plenty of Oz trolls coming up. Legitimate discussion isn't trolling bud. I'm sorry your cricket team is ****. England are just glorified seat warmers.
deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Legitimate discussion isn't trolling bud. I'm sorry your cricket team is ****. England are just glorified seat warmers. then i guess your team is **** too coz you guys were brownwashed over here.
Marut Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Australian batting - We made them look phenomenal at times, with our pedestrian bowling. The same Aussie team struggled against good bowlers from SA and NZ. At one point the Aussies took 836 for one wicket and no team can make that much in a test match unless the bowling side is a bunch of club cricketers ( from 37/3 in test two to 214/0 in test three they had made 836!). But the batting is generally brittle and prone to collapses, as we saw at both Melbourne and Perth. Bowling - Aussie is really good here, they kept it very tight and never allowed easy runs, which ultimately led to the fall of regular wickets in all innings we played. Indian batsman, as usual, struggled against this good bowling and the only chance to compete against this Aussie side was by being as good as they are in bowling, which India was not.
Dhonuts Dhoni Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 then i guess your team is **** too coz you guys were brownwashed over here. Don't know how you reached that conclusion. That was years ago when Australia didn't have patto_man or Davey Warner. I don't support Australia btw, I'm actually a follower of the Chairman's XI.
prinzo Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The fact is India are not feared anymore, they haver become sub standard, useless in other words,

deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The fact is India are not feared anymore' date=' they haver become sub standard, useless in other words,[/quote'] at least we were feared once unlike a certain team no one fears as everyone knows they will CHOKE.
prinzo Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Rememebr australia have a south african coaching them
deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Rememebr australia have a south african coaching them even we had a south african coaching us when we were world no 1 and world champions. maybe all south african players should retire and become coaches. then we'll see loads of high quality cricket.
Dhonuts Dhoni Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The fact is India are not feared anymore' date=' they haver become sub standard, useless in other words,[/quote'] Sub standard when they leave the sub continent. Careful, you might start losing matches at home next! patto_man > Shawarma Granted India will be a much better side when VVS and Sehwag are replaced with Pujara etc.

Careful, you might start losing matches at home next! patto_man > Shawarma Granted India will be a much better side when VVS and Sehwag are replaced with Pujara etc. and you guys are substandard when you enter the subcontinent (talking post 2006-07 ashes team. that team was great i admit it :hatsoff:) you have lost two series in india without winning a match. we won in england 2007 while oz last won in 2001 i believe. as for patto_man> sharma no. patto's avg will go up bowling in the sc.

No argument from me. Post Ashes we have been a rabble and are only just getting it together now. Guaranteed there will be more bad losses as our younger guys find their feet. patto_man's average doesn't go up. Up goes patto_man's average.
daryl1985 Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 I think we made them look better than they are as their batting is still weak but their bowling has improved significantly since the Ashes. However, what i can't get my head around is the fact that a stronger Indian team is getting beaten even worse than a weakened India team did in England. England's batting line-up is far superior to Australia's and their bowling attack is as good if not better (due to Swann being better than Lyon).
Dhonuts Dhoni Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 when is AUS touring India..?:winky: Not for a while I don't think. We have back to back Ashes coming up against the worst team to ever claim the number 1 rank. (Besides India :giggle:) Joking guys :omg:
special K Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Australia have three world class batsman in Hussey, Pointing and Clarke. The rest are all walking bunnies for our bowlers.

deathmonger Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Australia have three world class batsman in Hussey' date=' Pointing and Clarke. special K Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The truth is India have made both England and Australia better look like west Indies from the 70's. Losing to England is one thing, but to make this current Aussie side look anything more then half-decent is some achievement. I've been watching test match cricket for 15 years and this is the poorest performance I've ever seen by a so-called top team, and I include other whitewashes where one team is utterly dire and low on the rankings. This Indian side was no.1 in the world when they toured us, then no.2 when they went to Aus. Even when we got battered 5-0 in Aus back in 06-07 we were a little competitive and won the odd session. We should have drew the Adelaide test but choked, but choking is better then this. India have been battered and humiliated in 7 tests away, and no fight in any of these defeats. They never look like even winning a session in any of these defeats. This is a disgrace to cricket.
