Are we gonna win the CB series?

Are we gonna win the CB series?

  1. 1.

    • Obviously. We are the world champs, and we'll whitewash the Aussies in the finals like last time
    • Errrm. We might win a few games, and manage to get to the finals. Then we'll get smashed.
    • Haha. We'll lose most of our games and get knocked out in the group stages only.

Oh yeah! We are the World Champions.... Anything else sir B->
Yep, You are world champions (well done on that)... You won one tournament, which we have won 4 times.... We are the No 1 ranked team (No. 1 by a long margin) and have been for many meany years... That will continue for a long time to come... But well done on your tournament win, one tournament makes all the difference in longevity of success and world domination in ODIs

We have also won 2 times (1983 and 2011). You guys have been playing cricket since 1820s when even Mahatma Gandhi was not born. We started playing cricket in 1947. So, comparatively, we have not done bad at all winning 2 world cups. And don't forget We are the current World Champions. Rankings keep on shuffling but world champions will remain same till next WC :dance::dance:

Agree and repeat... well done on the WC successes... good record... Rankings for ODIs may shift but not at the No.1 level. Check the last time Aus was not ranked No 1 ODI side.... It was a long, long time ago.....

Please do some research and let us know when was the last time the Aussies were NOT No.1 and between which period and which team was No.1 then.

series owuld be interesting young players coping in foreign conditions raina will fail so thats one passenger bowling wise we are covered it owuld be competitive series cant wait!
Bowling selection was stupid. There are 3 pacers in the squad who can't bowl in death overs at all and will go for >15 rpo. So in a game where we are without Zak or yadav , it will cause us problems. Should have got one more quickie in place of Vinay. Our death over bowling costed us the ODI series in England. Not too sure about Raina. But Jadeja / Manoj Tiwary can replace him.

i was suprised with him in England (in England) ODIs. Australia's not too different.
You mean you are surprised by his consistency in England ODIs where he consistently scored about 190 runs with nearly 40 average. Yes, I can agree that Raina will not be a passenger but can he get a spot in the final XI is a question with Rohit Sharma's recent resurgence.

Raina should be 1st to come in if someone is injured.

I would start with 1. SRT 2. Viru 3. Gauti 4. Virat 5. Rohit 6. MSD 7. Jadega 8. Ashwin 9. Praveen 10. ZAK 11. Umesh If Jadega is not effective (bowling wise) Raina can bat at 6 and MSD move down the order.
hmm with 2 new balls praveen can play good choice has pathan batting gone down ? cos if he can bat like before he can play in place of jadeja lol
