Cricket Tragic Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 it is.. but not 161- 171 better our batsmen have lost it.. in this match our bowling was bad cos of kumar but was our bowling bad in mcg? no i think our batsmen lost it there they are not even getting 200 are u saying this bowling attack of australia is better then south african attack? where our batsmen faired so much better? That's not the point. The Aussie batting is pretty mediocre. They've been helped by our poor bowling AND the low totals we have put on the board.

They've been helped by our poor bowling AND the low totals we have put on the board. well guys who have performed arent mediocre.. our bowling wasnt that bad ishant dissapointed otherwise other then sydney innings. zack and yadav.. performed consistently these tracks are not 160 all out tracks 300 is par.

That 800/1 phase would be difficult to ignore so soon. And also, the way David Warner smashed them all around the park with the team scoring 149 in 20 overs at the end of the first day, they looked 'club class' or lesser.

Scores of 370 and 330 are not really that good a performance from the Indian bowlers. And of course 600 for 1 was inexcusable - doesn't matter how flat the pitch is. Even in the one good performance at the MCG they couldn't get rid of the tailenders (not helped by "Captain Cool"'s typically negative mindset, of course). Yes compared to our pathetic batsmen the bowlers haven't been total ****. But they have been pretty **** on the whole. Sure Zak and Yadav have been okay but then there is also trash like Ishant Sharma in the attack.

I just find it annoying as he made that statement only because our coach is not a white-skinned dude..Supposdly our fitness coach being Indian makes him some unfit guy...

That's not at all the point I was trying to make. My point is that if you look at the Australian fitness trainer, he looks young and athletic. The Indian one, Ramji Srinivasan, looks old and has a bit of a gut. He might be a very good trainer, I'm just saying how it looks from the outside.

adi B Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Well then I guess we deserved to lose 4-0. Batting techniques of some players need to be worked on and we don't even have a specialist batting coach. Hopefully these massive defeats will open their eyes. exactly
