Magneto Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 i was 1 yr old. :--D Both you lollipop boys, next time stop jumping about our 5-0 lead against the padosis in world cups. We've had the pleasure of experiencing all the victories whereas you were either in your diapers or conveniently 'unborn' when hot, earthshattering action was happening on the cricket field.

What a memorable knock that was. And the sixes that Sachin hit off Abdul Qadir in that rain-curtailed unofficial match that eventually became a tontee-tontee match. The beginning of the master - and he hadn't even played an international match then.

Magneto Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 India's been winning in India for a long time (a lot in the 90s as well). And the innumerable Hero Cups, Independence Cups, Singer Cups and all. The horror of the 90s is exaggerated. Only the overseas tours were problematic, and we are back to square one now.
