I can name few from Malayalam itself and there has got to be some from Tamil, Bengali or Marathi which deserved the award over this dumb masala performance. Sharmila Tagore was one of the jury during 2004-05 and he did a much better role in Omkara which would have been much deserving. Award for a movie like Hum Tum is a cruel joke. I think swades was released at that time.
