Looks like a beautiful place to play. First when I read the title of the thread, I thought it read "Dharmasena" cleared to host internationals...:hmmm:

Wow, that is great news, always felt India need a picturesque ground so we can promote India for more tourism etc, great move this and congrats. Now maybe we can make the pitch here conductive to extra pace and bounce.

I thought it was at a higher elevations' date='its almost at the same elevation as bangalore.[/quote'] Bangalore is 949 meters, while Dharamshala is 1317 meters. That is why so many 6s are hit on both the grounds high altitude. Wanderers is another ground 1753 meters above sea level.

:yay: wow great news, picturesque ground, lush green outfield, just hope its a green top, we have got good new young fats bowlers, just prepare green tops exclusively on this venue to nurture these players well nd hope the batsmen learn well

Hosted 2 IPL games this season. With good conditions it makes an ideal track for pace bowling. ( Probably the best in India and beats Mohali by a margin in that) Seems to be a very good test match venue.

Test Match is going to be extremely beutifuuuuuul to watch in this ground. Early morning game *wow*. Average T20 score is 193...a bit more green would make it a superb cricket wicket.

Excellent venue, great to watch cricket. Before tours to SA/Aus/Eng, our teams should be stationed here for a couple of weeks of conditioning camp on grassy bouncy tracks.

wow. nice. but it will be hard to field all day in a test match in this ground. fielders will get tired easily
Wanderers is at higher altitude than this ground. There is no problem playing there.
