saneindian Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Aussies coming into tests from BBL also killed us (Warner, Harris, Starc, Lyon etc)
bhanu Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This team is just crap' date= the worst team in cricket history, they get paid millions and still aren't any good or don't give a crap. dam, how times changes.. jus few months ago u guys were arguing if dis is da best indian team ever
adi B Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 i am least caring for these results nowadays, its just a procession, i have got used to it, doesnt affect me even if we getr thrashed, though it would be a humongous surprise if we win a single game vs aus
rkt.india Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I did not watch a single ball today as I knew the result beforehand. :winky: We are crap in T20s since we won the first T20 WC. We do not chose T20-specific team like Australia. Likes of Robin Uthappa, Yuvi, and Yusuf are must for T20s. We may do well in ODIs a bit, but we need to sort out our opening problem. Sehwag is playing like a third grade club cricketer right now. Rohit Sharma should open in the next T20 and Sehwag can bat in middle order.
Magneto Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Sehwag playing in the middle order in T20s will not change any problem. He'll still bat like a C**t and will find a way to get out. Maybe by shouldering arms to a full toss or something. The positive of today's match is that we didn't lose by an innings or something. What a relief that is!
asterix Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 This Ashwin guy appears to be hugely overhyped. Most of the time I saw him bowling fulltosses. Even David Hussey bowled better than him. The guy surely gonna lose us in test matches in India. God when will this CSK Solar eclipse on Indian cricket will end? How much damage it'll do?
Magneto Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Pathan will do as much damage as VK will do. Today, Ashwin and PK got murdered, Dhoni screwed up at the toss and while keeping, and the batsmen played like hacks. Only Rahul Sharma and VK gets pass marks. :two_thumbs_up:

What a relief that is! :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: With the complete lack of care this fat **** is playing with these days, it's actually quite conceivable. But no doubt we will be reminded "that's just the way he plays"

Ultimate_Game Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Can't bat, can't bowl, can't field These immortal words from legendary Shane Warne pretty much sum up India since the World Cup. Wonder when will the team be back home playing IPL. Even if we win every game at home for the next 2 years the wins will seem so hollow after the Eng and Aus tour fiascos :sniffle:
bulbul Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 actually these words are from a commentator long time back.. he said that about England team before start of Ashes.. After the series ended his comments whrere " correct words but wrong team " :giggle:
DeadMan Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Let's c what would happen in Tri series :yay:

After the series ended his comments whrere " correct words but wrong team " :giggle: I remember them after a huge controversy in late 90s (IIRC 99) when Warne was picked up by a broadcaster audio uttering these words against an Aussie bowler. The poor chap only played one or two Tests and the controversy lasted quite a while. I think it happened in 99 when Pak toured Aus, just before our tour to Aus in 99 when Jayawant Lele after picking up the Indian squad said that India will lose 3-0 :hysterical: Never seen such vote of confidence from a selector for the players he had just picked :haha:

zep1706 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It was Joe the cameraman who said those words I think, Warne got the blame, btw it's the same Joe the cameraman of segway fame.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 It was Joe the cameraman who said those words I think' date=' Warne got the blame, btw it's the same Joe the cameraman of segway fame.[/quote'] Don't know about that coz Warne even apologized to Scott Muller (the player against whom Warne made the comments) and they still aren't on talking terms.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Lele was not a selector but BCCI secretary....but yeah..he was & is still a tool. My mistake, but he did make the statement right after the Indian squad was announced for the tour :haha: I wonder when will Indian cricket get away from jokers like Lele, Pawar, Srinivasan, Rajiv Shukla etc.

Karan114 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Indeed they can't, but most of them are on 1-2 million dollar contracts with their IPL franchisees...so life is good for these players even if Indian cricket in general is the biggest laughing stock in the world game :two_thumbs_up:
