Blaming IPL wont solve anything. You are talking like we were getting greatest test players before IPL. Bhai abhi to bataya maine ke jo players capped nahi hain unhe karodo nahi milte. Karodo unhe milte hain jo FC me acha larke Indian team me aate hain ya jinke paas special talent hota hai. har koi test player nahi ban skta agar asa hota to Yuvraaj kab ka ban jata aur Yuvraaj IPL le baad ka nahi hai.

IPL is T20. To produce RD and SRT, we have Ranji trophy. Tell me how many SRT and RD are produced by our decades old Ranji trophy? And to remind you ranji is our premier tournament and it has gotten more attention than ever before. It is televised now. People talk about it. Media talk about it and you are saying it is not our premier tournament.

thats my point, its hard enuff to produce tendulkar/dravid when your first class competition is prioritized, jab ipl ko introduce karoge toh it will be even harder cos fewer kids would wanna play FC and our youth level cricket is also moving away from the longer version now... media kya talk karti hai yaar, ek do line newspaper mein chaap diye, ek do line akash chopra sahab se kahwa diye TV pe, yeh kaunsa coverage hai yaar ipl pe toh saare nazarein lage rehte hain, kehte hain na ad pe...'BHARAT BANDH' and it also has kool music and quality commentators like navjot singh sidhu and that girl from mtv , yeh sab ranji trophy mein kab aayega yaar, interest hi nahi hain and the game is being neglected

What are you talking about? FC competition was prioritized, aisa kab tha. Mujhe to lagta nahi ke 90s ke Ranji trophy aur ab ki Ranji trophy me koi fark hai. BTW, I would say Ranji trophy now gets more attention than before from cricket fans and even from media. It is televised now. So it has been prioritized better than before. Ask any ranji cricketer and you will get your answer. There are more than 300 cricketers play in Ranji and at least 150 are batsmen and out of those only few you will found good for biggest stage and that is true for every country not just India and since it has begun.

Ye to kabhi tha hi nahi. It is not even in Aussie, English, or SA domestic. They too only do it for one day and T20. If they will get all this for FC then how can they be motivated to play for India and come in limelight. That is why this is FC cricket, they need to work hard to come up to the next level and get the lime light. Look at this also, how may cricketers, noncapped, who has done well in IPL are known or getting ads, etc. You are not remember for IPL exploit but for what you for India.
