Unless you want "everything is ok" Sehwag or Gauti-both are out of sorts and tactically naive. Sree is a leader. Has all the characteristics. Understanding, experienced, helped groom Kerala pacers. He is well read and wise which will help with media conferences and helping the players with morale and motivation. Also an aggressive player who plays with passion, he will be no different as captain. Lead from the front and set attacking fields. Will also bowl more which will be superb for us as Dhoni abused him.

Okay okay, can we put it in this way: a) Sreesanth needs to be fit first (and not get injured the moment he comes back) b) Then he needs to be in form and be consistent c) Then he needs to cement his place in the side d) Then he needs to be a match-winner on a few occasions e) Then he can hope to be around for another 5 years since he is already 29. Captain?

Captain? If anything, the recent hammerings have taught us we need to get the best players in asap and start a gradual phasing. I want Tendulkar and Dravid to play on. Gauti and Lax to go. Get in Mukund/Pujara/Rohit. Likewise, bowling we need to start making some serious changes.
