Old guy
I actually didn't find his nick. I looked up that he's from Davangere and casually stated 'Davangere Mail'. Didn't know he was called 'Express'. :hehe: But you creating this thread is giving him all the energy. He's literally turning into an Express :omg: Nothing is so much fun as backing an underdog and seeing him come through. true now lets start supporting sreesanth form now on :cantstop: Link to comment

And on top of that he is blocking the way for more talented fast bowlers. Now he is even blocking the way for Zaheer Khan and Umesh Yadav's as well. VK's limitations (shorter 5'9 medium pacer) will always be a problem. Even I'd prefer Mithun over him. If Mithun would have had given so much chances and confidence from Dhoni, he'd have shown much more improvement than VK. Link to comment

He is certainly better than Mithun right now and the way he increased his speed since the T20s is heartening that he understood the importance of a bit more pace in Perth Test and now is running in and bending his back and he still is only 27 not 33. If he can bowl well like this he can certainly play for India. He most often was over 135K today with some movement and was consistent as well while PK was at his normal pace around 125K mostly. rkt.india
still he is useless... He is blocking Nechim,Shami ahmed,@mwar khan etc ...... Certainly, he blocked the way of likes of Dinda and Nechim at Perth where he was manhandled and then he got to know the importance of pace and is now steaming in and hitting the deck hard at around 135-142K every time he has bowled after that test rather than bowling dollies at 127K.
