We can get new players in the side and test them out before giving them a chance in ODIs

Sehwag should not play either way. On second thoughts, Kohli can be given the captaincy for T20s so that we see how well he fares.

Kohli and GG are very good at T20, can build and play shots. Dhoni is decent but hasn't done justice to himself in T20I, maybe cause he comes low down. You would have to be brave to drop Viru from a T20 WC when his game is made for this format...

We can get new players in the side and test them out before giving them a chance in ODIs[/quote'] I wont disagree with 1st part barring Kohli,I think he should play and captain the side in near future.And we should not use this format to test players for Odis ,instead we should play cricketers who are ideally suited to only this format like Bada Pathan,Uthappa,S Tiwari etc.

Players playing all three formats + IPL and CLT20 are playing way too much international cricket. T20 is one format which we can rest them without any impact. Instead they should be asked to play Ranji
