saneindian Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The last over has ruined the day for the anti MSD brigade of ICF, else a number of MSD hate threads would have been bumped.
Prakat Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 loook at all the ladies whiningggggg :hehe: Yeah, they're like... "Jeet toh gaye... magar kaise?" :headshake: And to think they are saying this, after getting whipped, rogered, plastered and hung out to dry all over Australia for two whole months. "Lottery toh lagi... per Dainik Bhaskar mein." :headshake:

Pagalpanti Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 hmm guys relax .todays tuk tuk had nearly costed us match .7/10 times you will lose the match . Thanks to that 6 and Noball. Virat, Rohit, Raina have brain farts and almost cost India match which we should've otherwise won with many balls to spare yet Dhoni is the one who nearly cost us the match? :giggle:
VRV Singh Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 hmm guys relax .todays tuk tuk had nearly costed us match .7/10 times you will lose the match . Thanks to that 6 and Noball. He didn't pace the first 2/3 of his innings well. But how can you say things like this. He rejected the 2nd run to stay on strike. He knows he is capable of smoking the bowling. Give him his dues, he is a colossal finisher in ODIs.

Show_stopper Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Virat' date=' Rohit, [b']Raina have brain farts and almost cost India match which we should've otherwise won with many balls to spare yet Dhoni is the one who nearly cost us the match? :giggle: C'mon dude...no way can you atrribute Raina's dismissal to a brainfart. He had to go for it as Dhoni was doing squat at the time. He is the guy who kept things within manageable limits for Dhoni in the end. You think Dhoni's last over flourish would have sufficed without Raina playing those high risk shots? The only ones who played irresponsible shots in this game were Sehwag,Virat and Rohit.
Show_stopper Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Raina is the reason we finished this game folks even though Dhoni's innings will become the talk of the town.
VRV Singh Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Kohli should be disappointed with his shot. Match was there for him to win. He has paced chases many times before without such shots early on. Can't blame Raina. But he needs to come in at 6.
Prakat Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 ^ Credit goes big time to Gumbo too. :nice:
Swing_n_Speed Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Dhoni assumes responsibility, unlike many others. He takes it upon himself to stay right to the end and experience has proven that every time Dhoni sticks around the result more often than not will be in India's favor. So a required run-rate of anything between 4 and 8 is always going to be Dhoni's bread and butter against any opposition in the world. Dhoni is tha MAN!!! PS Because Dhoni is around it gives Raina and Jaddu the license to go for it. So in no way can one say that they thew away their wickets. They all played to plan.
Sid Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Raina is the reason we finished this game folks even though Dhoni's innings will become the talk of the town. I agree,Raina played a crucial innings :nice:

adi B Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 dhoni u fecker, u screwed us big time, we should have won by 48 overs, b4 the last over u did not even show an intent to hit the ball hard for 4 or 6.... but but but with 12 of 4 needed, u are our best bet to win the game along with uv am just happy we won :yay:
Texy Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 In the interview Dhoni said he told Raina to keep going til RR reaches 9 .....if Raina didn't play that crucial knock...Dhoni would've never made it...not to mention serious luck in the end there...if that ball was below waist height..that would've been a single or a tight 2 w/ a chance of run out....Yes he did hit a 6 but he waited too late
