ganeshran Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 10 minute pehle sab gaali de rahe the :cantstop: Anyways, he didnt pace his innings properly. But all's well that ends well
Deleted_User_1 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Yeah it was ill paced, but he got the win and that's whats matters!
Ayush94 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 :angry_smile:match would have been over if dhoni didnt play like such a  wants to be the hero and see everyone go 'DHONI DHONI'!!!! egoistic fhbdskjafs
Show_stopper Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The dawg!! Fooled everyone with his tuk-tuk for sometime there. We could have won this with 20 balls to spare had he rotated the strike on a regular basis when he just came in. But the artificially induced excitement was worth it,imo.
Prakat Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 10 minute pehle sab gaali de rahe the :cantstop: Anyways, he didnt pace his innings properly. But all's well that ends well Thread especially for haters! We could have won it or lost it in the last over. But what I really liked was that when that second run was there to be taken he took strike and took it upon himself instead of letting Ashwin take the heat. That's doing it like a man. :shakehands:
shinchan Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 it was disgusting inning... didnt even bothered to rotate strike... match should have been ended much earlier... :wall::wall:
VRV Singh Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Lol. He definitely didn't pace things properly and left a lot on Raina, Jadeja and Ashwin. Still maintain he should be coming in at 5. But pulled it out of the bag anyway! Must be an aura about bowling to him in the last over of chases. Immense ODI player.
Aaku Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 MAHI MAHI MAHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII :yay: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Faking News Dhoni summarized education system of India in today's match - students matching up with the syllabus at the last moment. :haha:
zaheer Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Here's another interesting stat from Rajneesh Gupta: "Highest batting avg in successful chases (Min.25 inns): Dhoni (104.89), M Clarke (89.20),Bevan (86.25) & M Hussey (83.87)." Dhobi :hatsoff:
The Realist Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Won in the end but that was a poorly paced innings and got lucky in the last over. Wasted far too many balls and only hit one boundary plus always seems to leave the shot making to other players.

Texy Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 yah poor innings from MSD....he got real lucky there...he struggled to hit a boundary and struggled to rotate strike early on
NareshK Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 His health doesnt seem to be good judging by how he was struggling to take the 2s and 3s. I thought he did well by letting Raina take the chances and just taking the singles but after Raina got out, he couldnt put the spinner away and the equation got tighter. Anyway, brilliant finish at the end. He is definitely one of the best finishers in ODIs of all time.
Sid Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 While in a chase when MSD is around , baize and girls please remember this :
ganeshran Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 You can say it was a poor innings, but how did he get lucky. He made sure he played well in the last over when it mattered, regardless of his wasting balls in the first half of the innings
