Not everybody blames Sachin, not related to topic but Yesterday I was shopping at JC Penny in NJ with my family, my daughter discovered a Baseball bat lying on floor. She tried to pick it up suddenly I heard a voice "it seems she loves Baseball game". I looked back and saw a black American who was standing there. He then halted for a moment looked at me and then said oh no may be she loves Cricket right? I asked do you follow the game of Cricket he said no I havent seen any match but I know there is one Sachin Tendulkar some great player whom everybody loves. :hatsoff:

There was an exhaustive article called "In Tendulkar Country" which featured in Sports Illustrated (or some other leading magazine) just after the WC in April 2011. Many American sports fans were upset why the main article dealt with cricket when the baseball season was about to start :giggle: No doubt SRT is one of the most popular cricketers ever and I have fielded queries about him in North America. Apparently anyone who has heard about cricket has also heard about Tendulkar.
