Shami Ahmed was brilliant in the match, especially today he was unplayable, 8 wickets in the match plus total 6 slip catches dropped in the match on his bowling, most of them were regulation in slips

It was a helpful track for pacers and no other batsmen crossed 50 (barring Anustup Majumdar's 52)! Saha himself scored more than that CZ scored in the first innings. Shami bowled damn well, but Saha's was the defining performance of the match head and shoulders above the rest on a difficult track.

He would have got 10 and not 12. Couple of catches were of the same guy. Shami is just starting off, let him win Bengal the Vijay Hazare Trophy now. Then we'll see. I can't complain though - all the 4 Bengal players have been exemplary in this tournament.

They have a chance of bowling out other teams for smaller totals in conducive pitches. And then the batsmen can play aaram se. We still have Anustup, Saha, Laxmi Ratan Shukla to bat so should be a pretty competitive unit.
