Will England whitewash Pakistan in this ODI series?

more like can 18% indian team whitewash 100% pakistani team?? lol dont know.but all they have to do is win next two tosses. what are odds of that?? any math wizz around??

Probability of winning a toss is .5 and if I recall my math lessons the probability of winning both the tosses, which are independent unrelated events, would be .5 * .5 = .25, i.e. 1 in 4 :smiley: Can anyone who's still studying at the moment or recall probability lessons confirm :--D

I think the big changes that need to be made in the team are Farhat & Malik out and we need an all rounder like Hammad Azam and ideally also a keeper who can bat. That will balance the team nicely We have Afridi, Ajmal & Hafeez who can ball spin We got Gul and either Wahab, Cheema or Junaid who can ball fast Umar Akmal, Afridi (Hit and miss with the bat) and to a certain extent Hafeez are good at the big hits with the bat Younus, Misbah, Azhar/Asad who are the solid batsmen in the middle Now the all rounder I am talking about will idealy be a fast bowling all rounder such as the Razzaq or Azhar Mahmood of the late 90's early 2000's and the keeper has to be someone who can really bat aggressively and not tuk tuk & catch! 1. Hafeez 2. Batting/Keeper (Aggressive like K.Akmal use to but a keeper who can catch) 3. A.Ali/A.Shafiq 4. YK 5. Misbah 6. U.Akmal 7. Afridi 8. All Rounder TBC - preferably seam bowler 9. Gul 10. Ajmal 11. Wahab/Junaid/Cheema/Rehman The openers can be aggresive openers..from 3 to 5 we have stability with Akmal at 6 who can be promoted if the need arises. Akmal, Afridi & the allrounder can be used for late hitting. The 11th player can be chosen depending on condition etc. Bowling Line up: Gul, Ajmal, Afridi, Hafeez, Number 11 & the all rounder If U.Akmal can somehow manage to get fully in shape and adabatble and capable of Keeping & Batting that would be amazing since it would mean we can include another batsmen who can open - other then Farhat

Kick out younis khan Azhar one down umar second down than misbha than Asad and Hammad Replace Rehman

why not play both ali and asad ?

u guies seriously need one fast baller who can contain runs. gul, wahab both should not be in the same team. junaid should get chance. umar akmal should come at least one batsmen ahead of misbah. with misbah he starts to look for sixes with no valid reason.

If we loose quick wickets and need stability send Misbah who can Tuk for life..else if we are 3 or 4 down after 35 overs or so send in Akmal

yep remember those two are the future.. and fast bowler junaid khan did bowl well against sri lanka people he is no amir wht has amir done on these flat tracks? he bowled in helpful conditions maybe talent wise he is not that good but he is better then riaz from wht i have seen
