Also' date= you can't drop a player syuddenly after he did so well in India. Agreed that Tiwary also scored a 100 but again, he's competing with the likes of Kohli and Sharma who would be given a go ahead. Jadeja is competing with Irfan and if good sense prevails, then Ifran would be prefered. Perfect! In this case, we should've dropped Sehwag, Rohit Sharma too.

Rohit Sharma, more than Raina..Raina still has 2 innings, one of which proved crucial to win the match against Australia with his attacking batting. I would like Dhoni to bat at 5 and let Raina bat 6 and 7 because he has developed his game that way, come in and play crucial cameos and win matches. Jaddu cannot do this. Raina has done this even while batting at 7, even Jaddu can bat ahead of Raina as he is not as good a hitter as Raina. Raina is a must in an India ODI side right now.

I guess I read even Sunny/Ravi writing about Raina's poor technique in their column recently. It must however be noted that no one has done enough to challenge Raina for his spot. Yusuf could've been one but then he's not consistent. Ditto with Uthappa.

Everyone is trying to push him out now and he only has himself to blame for not retiring with dignity when he could, with the World Cup in his hands. He needs to realize that scoring 99 hundreds will not make him a lesser player. Unfortunately, the 100 is his only motivation. I dont see anyone exploited it in ODIs. He scored runs in England, in India against genuine pacers of England. He has a T20 100 against good pace bowling attack in SA. Hew has scored runs against Australia as well. One weakness does not make him bad batsman while he has man other qualities. Thing is I want him to bat at 6 and MSD at 5.
