CG Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 The OP is not about excuses or whether we would have won or not. The thread is about how we are the only team bothered about "spirit of cricket" when others wouldn't mind cheating if it gets them a win. As regards to Hussey, if he had been given out and rightly so we wouldn't be chasing more than 220-230 and anything could have happened. Chasing 220 and 250 are different things and you can never tell what could have happened. I think this should be a lesson to tendulkar and think tank who make decisons wanting to avoid controversy . what we did in engand was so so stupid.
Ultimate_Game Posted February 26, 2012 Author Posted February 26, 2012 I think this should be a lesson to tendulkar and think tank who make decisons wanting to avoid controversy . what we did in engand was so so stupid. Too late for SRT now. He was at the receiving end against Pakis in the Eden Garden test where he was run out the same way when Akhtar blocked him and pakis refused to withdraw the appeal, he was there in Aus in 2007-08 when Aussies didn't walk after edging to slip and tried claiming bump catches with Ponting nearly playing an on-field umpire, SRT was also there when Lankans bowled a deliberate no-ball to deny Sehwag the 100. Hope others get the message and our youngsters don't make the same mistake in the future. And the irony is SRT and Indians get the flak for monkeygate. It was SRT & Bhajji's word against Aussies and how the phuck can Aussies' words be taken ahead of Indians going by the track records of both teams????
Raghav_12 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 It's clear to see why there's nothing like the "spirit of the game". Watson in the press conference on the Tendulkar run out "Tendulkar was probably unhappy wiht Gambhir's call". dHW0-rNf2Kg This guy is dirty scum.
saket123 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Watson is retarded. Why would Tendulkar be mad at Gambhir when it was clearly Tendulkar's call to take the run?? These goras are like that cat drinking milk with it's eyes closed and thinks the world has disappeared!... they think if they say something erroneously stupid.. then that is how the situation is too. If I was one of the reporters there.. I would have asked him how he could say that when it was clear that the run was Tendulkar's call. Bastards!
akshayxyz Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 This guy is dirty scum. Which of them is not, barring few exceptions - like Gilchrist.. and I doubt may be he is also just a "Andhon mein kaana raja".
jairamesh Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Gilchrist was in class of his own. But the likes Ponting, David Cheating Sissey, Lady Jaya, Sanga, Retard, well someone mentioned the word; dirty scum, it fits them well.
Robelinda Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I think the scum is Dhoni, suspended TWICE in 2 months for cheating. Anyway, keep crying, its hilarious.
The Outsider Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 I think the scum is Dhoni' date=' suspended TWICE in 2 months for cheating. Anyway, keep crying, its hilarious.[/quote'] The idea behind playing 4 phhaasht boilers in the matches for which Dhoni was suspended was that the opposition would not last long enough for over rates to be a factor in front of a 4 pronged pace attack rivaling Marshall, Holding, Garner, and Roberts.
Moncy Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 India played badly and lost. These excuses are dumb' date=' to say the least. Tendulkar's was a terrible run. Hussey was probably out but India would not have won anyway, they are not going to until the top order decides to put some runs on the board and not leave everything to Ashwin, Dhoni et al every time.[/quote'] Agreed +1111 Dhoni, stop QQing. It won't make a a difference. Rather use your energy to figure out why you guys have been so pathetic in this tour.
mastana Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 We have never won the spirit of cricket award? Oh thats why we are playing bad these days. I got it now. Nothing to worry. :aha:
akshayxyz Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 This "spirit of cricket" has costed us the English and Aussie summer, big time. And this is the prime reason, I would want 11 Virat 'finger' Kohlis in the team.

And this is the prime reason, I would want 11 Virat 'finger' Kohlis in the team. hell yeah! just make him captain .. would probably be banned in half the matches but atleast we will go for the "kill"

And this is the prime reason, I would want 11 Virat 'finger' Kohlis in the team. Well, that is OTT. It has been poor cricket on both these tours which costed us. But these few incidents did not help the case either.

That Ian Bell incident was a total pussy act with the game tilting in India's favor had Bell been dismissed. We never recovered, and just went through a drunken stupor of "spirit of cricket", whilst others cheated their way to wins. Hell, Ajmal bent his way to lead Pakistan to victory in UAE.
yoda Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Well, more the pussy you are, more the opponents are going to step on you. That said, we aren't losing because of that, it's because we are playing some rather poor cricket.
Robelinda Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Every session in that English summer and this Aussie was lost because India playing retardedly bad cricket.
Laaloo Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 hell yeah! just make him captain .. would probably be banned in half the matches but atleast we will go for the "kill" Virat Kohlis a pussy. Wasn't this fker complaining about someone in the audience abusing him and saying "nasty" words or something like that. Fake and OTT attitude. He dishes it out to the umpires, to the opposition, and to the audience but when he's confronted, he pussies out. The same attitude you see a lot in todays generations.

How was the game tilting in India's favor during the bell dismissal? Wasn't their lead 250 + at that time?
Raghav_12 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Every session in that English summer and this Aussie was lost because India playing retardedly bad cricket. Don't disagree with that. But that doesn't give Lee a right to block somebody from running as in AFL league or to handle the ball.
