Yadav Ready to Fire Again Fit Umesh yearning to let it rip again IndiaÃÔ new pace sensation Umesh Yadav is all set to make a comeback in the Deodhar Trophy inter-zonal one-day tournament starting on Friday after an injury rehab kept him out of contention for the Asia Cup. Yadav, who is being pitched as India's next frontline bowler with Varun Aaron, is Click Here! on the road to peak fitness after recovering from a shin injury he picked on the Australia tour. Ū'm back to full fitness. I'm not concentrating on anything other than achieving my goals, like working on my bowling and maintaining my fitness, said the speedster from Vidarbha. The pacer, who will take the field for Central Zone against South in the opening game, simply aims to bowl fast and take wickets rather than bother about the pitch. ŵhe conditions don't matter much. Yes, you get more bounce and pace on the wickets abroad while in India, I can only name a few places like Bangalore and Mohali which are a bit pace-friendly. But as a bowler, all you have to look for is the correct line and length, added Yadav, who admits he is far from taking over the mantle of India's new ball attack from seniors like Zaheer Khan. Although the team had a miserable Australia tour, it was a big learning curve for Yadav, and he has returned wiser. Ūt was good exposure for me. Even though the tour did not pan out as per our expectations, the experience of bowling in different conditions will help me grow as a bowler. Yadav felt a rotation policy would allow fast bowlers to stay fit and ensure their longevity. Å¢s a fast bowler, you cannot go on playing matches for long periods as it exposes you to injuries, besides weakening your muscles. The Piyush Chawla-led Central Zone will take on South Zone, led by Dinesh Karthik, in the one-off quarterfinal. The tournament will particularly give the fringe players a chance to make an impact before the domestic season winds down. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Cricket/CricketNews/Fit-Umesh-yearning-to-let-it-rip-again/Article1-826110.aspx

No Anwar Ahmed, I would love to see Sudeep Tyagi, I was impressed with whatever I saw of Stuart Binny, West Zone's bowling sucks.I will support E Zone, wish I could see these games, to see all the players.

South Zone 49/1, Mukund and Cheka Jr out Bhuvanesh Kumar 2/32 so far Surprised to see Umesh Yadav being asked to play this match. Wasn't he "rested" from the Asia Cup due to niggles after a report by the physio?

he was injured but it wasnt serious he is still very young and like i said before needs to learn a lot.. wont learn by playing ipl so this is ideal place.. he is a good test bowler for us .. but still needs to tighten up his bowling for odis

also only reason zaheer improved was not cos of jsut playing country cricket its not that simple ... he bowled a lot in both conditions..and slowly become much much better bowler so i never really have a problem with bowler bowling in matches tbh

After getting the taste of hard international cricket, he should enjoy domestic cricket which should certainly help him improve. This is the phase which will help him improve in domestic cricket.

SZ 205/7 Its good to see recent domestic one dayers being played on relatively better tracks and not the absolute pattas of the past.
But Mohali is one of the flattest in India, nowadays, help spinners a bit.
