Rohit Sharma's technique is excellent? Our definition of "technique" must differ vastly then. Kohli has really good technique though, in all fairness.

considering rohit technique to be the best so early is absurd,But among Current young indian batsman he has the best technique.He does not have premeditate movements .Nowadays most batsman get in to a trigger position like kallis and watson who are on the front foot even before ball is bowled then they react from that position. Rohit technique is closer to tendulkar they do not have trigger movements they react to the length of the ball ,go either back or forward.I see ross taylor also has a similar technique when he is not trying to slog everything to midwicket in t20s and odis He has a problem of shot selection as his range of shots is allround ,he needs to work on that.

Rohit awesome technique ? WTF :hysterical::hysterical:.We all saw his super natural talent as well as the super natural technique in SA 2010.This guy is the only cricketer I have seen or heard who has so many fans without doing anything big of note.

A guy who averages 32 in test cricket is 32x better,i do not think so yet as rohit has not got chance in tests considering he averages 63 in fc.

Technique is the most overrated thing in cricket. If technique really was a silver bullet for scoring runs consistently, Manjrekar would have been the greatest since Bradman and Sehwag would probably be playing gully cricket somewhere.

Footwork is used not only for defence but also for hittng cover drive, straight dive, in the same way for playing pull shot you need movement of back feet. Ever wondered why Dravid, Gavaskar, Sachin have wonderful records while playing in every kind of condition be it Aus , SC or WI. It is because of this technique. Now go cheer for Raina pull shot and Dhoni cover drive. This is what you are going to see in future.

IMO temperament is a much more important factor than technique. A player with good temerament but moderate technique will almost always beat a player with good technique but a poor temperament.

But they have a much better temperament. You will always need a decent technique and skill at intl level but the differentiator at the top level is temperament. That's why it's said cricket is 10% physical and 90% mental. Quite a few FC cricketers have the talent and technique to succeed but the ones who make it to the top are the ones who have better temperament. batsmen like Sehwag and Dhoni wouldn't have gotten past league cricket if technique was the be all and end all but it's their temperament that sets them apart. If it had been all about technique and skills Ramprakash and Manjrekar would have been world beaters.

Not quite. Quite a few ICFers want Rohit to be iven a fair crack in Tests as you can't judge a Test player by his odi performances. Rohit needs to be given 2 full Test series to determine whether he can cut it in Tests or not.
