For all its reputation for being loud, brass, in-yer-face, I have had quite a different experience of this city and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised. One previous visit, managed to confirm the stereotype, but now in my longest visit ever, I find a Delhi, that is courteous, likes driving in lanes, is willing to queue and well-mannered. It's all a bit too much and bordering on cognitive dissonance. So I'm going to hold back and bit and see if the impression continues into day 3. But until then, Salaam Dilli!

Mostly near the Hong Kong Bazaar, looking at some villas. Just one meeting with a jat cop, but turns out it was because our driver was on the phone. He got someone on the phone who spoke to the cop and then instead paid reduced challan for driving with seatbelt (Rs. 100 as opposed to Rs. 1000 for phone offense), drove off.
