No wonder even Bangladesh made fun of our bowling' date=' this time literally.[/quote'] Time has come for bringing up some talent in bowling. Hire some former great bowler (not Indian please) and give guidance to promising talent in our country. Else, even after 10 years, our bowling will be in a terrible state only.

When was our bowling good, except under home conditions? Zaheer, for all his hype, has an average of 32 and SR of 58. If our best bowler is like this, then what exactly has gone to the dogs? Pakistan has nine or so bowlers with sub 25.0 test average and we have none! Our best bowlers like Kapil, Srinath, kumble etc were still mediocre bowlers by global standards, having bowling averages close to 30.0

Whatever happened to that famed MRF Pace Academy. But we dont have quality spinners and pacers we never had. Without quality bowlers we cant do anything in cricket. And people will not like it - but IPL just kills the quality of bowlers.

Even I don't understand why MRF Pace Academy has produced almost nil results. And BCCI never bothered to look into the issue either!

Bowling puts India in another jam Source - http://www.espncricinfo.com/asia-cup-2012/content/story/557660.html

There was a visible tentativeness from Tendulkar as the century neared, he struggled to pick the gaps as he seemed weighed down by the approaching milestone. His 147-ball 114 resulted in the second lowest strike-rate in 100-plus scores for him, so yes, it wasn't the most fluent of his innings. But then, his partner for much of the effort and one of the form batsmen in world cricket, Virat Kohli, was also having trouble picking up the pace. Besides, the final flourish from Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni boosted India to 289, a solid score on a track where the ball was stopping a touch and when the opposition had sent you in.

As seconds ' date='minutes ,hours ,days ,year passes [b']our bowling has become worse than anything else. Bowling is one of the reasons for our pathetic show in the last 9 month or so and they are to be blamed for the yesterdays loss as well .our bowlers were bowling Full toss after full toss .Some may claim it was dew, which made things hard for them ,but they are international cricketer who are paid to do the job ,and its not like they were bowling for the first time with bit of dew. I repeat its our bowling who is the culprit more often than not .Rant over ! note :No batsmen bashing .
tell that to some of the "experts" here who are hellbent on blaming a particular batsman for our "low" score of 289 which the poor bowlers were not able to defend.

i dont blame tendulkar entirely but he was part of the problem it clearly wasnt his best batting performance ..buti ts not the first time nay batsman out of form scored slowly but we dont expect this from tendulkar thats the problem :(

Mushfiq actually said that he's gonna target Indian bowlers and thrashed the living daylights out of them :giggle:
Never seen a Bangbro hommie murder any bowling attack like that, :hysterical: He was like 44 off 22!!:hysterical: The only solace he gave me is that our ODI batting has to be pretty special to continuously churn out big totals, I can't recall any other team posting 300plus (batting first only) than India in the last four to five years. Our batsmen are under tremendous pressure, typified by Musfiq slaughtering our bowling attack. It was interesting to observe Kohli facial expression when Bangbros were like 2 runs away from victory. :hysterical:

Yeah we bat well on flat tracks, leave a little but of grass and our batting lineup gets all out for 200.

Big test for our bowling coming today . They need to perform at-least 10% of what they did in the last match .

Funny to see all the knee jerk responses in this thread. I do agree but a lot of people (myself included) have been saying this well in advance. Wise captains are proactive' date=' not reactive![/quote'] This isn't knee jerk reaction I wonder if you really watch Matches or not :hmmm:
