BERGKAMP Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 i have already bet a tenner at 5/1 odds bangers will win. you just know it's going to happen. not too bothered to be honest. its a mickey mouse tournament anyway. it was worth us taking part just to destroy pak today. we got bigger issues to sort out (how to get the trundler brigade out) than win this tin pot cup.

I know quite a few Sri Lankan people (friends and well...not friends) all are very sweet , "open hearted", and luv to live life. And remember Sri Lankan's biggest influx of tourists are Indians and vice versa, many Sri Lankans are in India working and especially studying. I would be careful how I judge them. They seem to be nice upfront but they are the same folks who show their true faces on internet. "Loins" are the ones who epitomize the saying "bagal mein churi aur mun mein ram ram". I think they have huge inferiority and little brother syndrome issues and it's time BCCI put them in their place.

From Pakis you always expected the same especially since India has owned them big time in big games & tourneys. But I always thought of Lanakns as easy going and friendly sort of folks and in fact pulled for them or WI if India wasn't playing but the WC final toss, Dilshan no-ball and Lankan fans moaning about fixing post WC totally changed my perception. I mean India has always helped them out right from sending a team to SL in 96 WC as a sign of solidarity when other teams didn't even want to visit them due to security reasons, India has helped them financially by playing series against them so that the SL board doesn't go bankrupt and this is the stuff we get in return from Lankan team and fans. I hope BCCI steers clear of Lankans and let them go bankrupt if they do - no more 3 series a year with that thankless bunch. yeah, this is a bit weird. maybe they are sick of getting smacked around by india in all these games? they barely win anything against us. asia cup last year wasnt even close and we always win the bilateral series against them, home or away
Schickelgruber Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I'd like a Pak-Ind final because they always result in lots and lots of runs. But I still feel India would beat Pak again in the final, that was my gut feeling today as well even after 200-0, I knew somehow they would lose lol.

We definitely don't deserve the shyt we are getting from Loin fans, their board or the team. Even the ex-players like Ranatunga don't miss a chance to take a shot at BCCI or India and I think it's time BCCI put them in their place. I am sick of the whiny c**ts who are good at nothing but sniping behind people's backs.

And there is no other continental equivalent in cricket. The reactions of Bangladesh fans in their win was proof enough for me Asia Cup still has a place in cricket. It's only the non-participants who moan about its irrelevance. And it's home to one of the biggest guaranteed rivalry in sporting history.

They have got a decent batting line up. Maybe they need to find one good strike bowler to support Murtaza and Shakib.. can be a competitive ODI unit in the future. Doesn't matter. India committed anothrr case of domestic violence on mother lanka and stuck several inches of meat inside the Pakis. They both loved it. And When this tournament ends, the team with the most Asia cups is still India. India is the Baap of the subcontinent. Yeah agree, baaps of flat pitches.. :haha: :hysterical: lol bangla would beat lankans ass. i think mother lankan lost to bangla most of the time out of all the top nation' date=' [b']4 times in odi. 3 times in bds backyard. plus bd is far better team now than they were when they beat lankan with mahela, jaya, lady ,murali and vaas in Wrong, we have lost only 2 ODIs against them.. both were in their own backyard (unlike your heros who got their ass whipped in the world stage during 2007 WC.. :haha:) Also with your last defeat India have lost more ODIs (3) than SL against Bangla. So in that case we have the luxury to lose one more match here.. :--D

When did u start watching cricket, 2010? If then you should ask from one of your old monkeys that what we did to your team during mid 90s lol. SL and Ind can't compare in the same contest like that anyway, it's only since 1996 WC that we started playing real professional cricket. And then there is always this population thing.. :winky: IIRC we still have a better W/L ratio than you in ODIs since 1996.
