Whereas Kohli(3), Gambhir(1) , Sehwag(1) , Ganguly(1) , Dhon(1)i, Pathan(1), Dravid(1) all have atleast 1. How can we score a century in a 300 run chase, if every time he scores a ton we lose?

And there was the 141 in Pakistan where he played another brilliant innings and was undone by a super-slow knock from Saurav. And there have been lots of useful knocks which proved critical such as that 40-odd he made when we chased against Pakistan where Kanitkar hit the winning runs, and now this 50 which laid the foundations. SRT's record batting second, is, I think, better than his average batting second. Lastly, "300" is an artificial figure and one can think of lots of knocks which came in a winning cause - the 98 against Pakistan, the two 100s against Oz in 1998, the twin knocks in the CB series finals, etc. Enough with this mindless SRT bashing.
