Ponka Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 SRT on NDTV now in a press conference... Only gives interviews when he scores a hundred :cantstop:

CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 So a kid is saying that professionalism holds no discrimination and there should not be a different scale for Tendulkar and a seemingly self-proclaiming elder guy is saying that 'NO- sachin should get bharat ratna and everyone should blindly idolize him' NO - for Ponka, anyone who selfishly promoted himself and played for records should never be handed such awards. Its a disgrace for the award itself. He's professional cricketer. Why shouldn't all the armymen doing their job in Siachin NOT get Bharat ratna and deserve the same status as Tendulkar as-per-your standards??? Why tendulkar is treated differently than a normal indian who spent 30 years of his life working for India??? okay lets focus only on cricket. Why Tendulkar should not be dropped if he plays poorly? When he played poorly why wasn't he dropped? Why a different yardstick for him? Why shouldn't get the slack or penalty for losing India the Asia cup??? This royalty attitude with Tendulkar will hurt India in future. Everyone should get the slack for playing poorly and appreciation for playing great. By the way they're paid very well to play great cricket which is the same for every Indian cricketer. However what is not same is that when someone else played poorly, he was asked to retire. When tendulkar played poorly, he wasn't. But Ponka, dont you see that its the likes of yourself who are putting Sachin on a different scale than other players? When dhoni plays slow and we lose, when Dravid plays slow overall they are not blamed, yet you are able to remember one match and place the blame squarely on one player's head for victory and failure Plus Sachin has played for over 21 years, are you so dishonest to pretend that for those 21 years he has only played for himself and no one else? When you yourself put different standards for one player as compared to others, when for all other players you use simple parameters like batting average, etc but for Sachin its suddenly about his age and other percieved charecteristics like pressure, selfishness, then arent you yourself putting him on a different scale as compared to others? If you really beleive he is like any other player/batsman then criticize him as any othr player batsman. Compare him with the rest of the team and not with your lofty idea of idealism and him being on a different level
CSK Fan Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 my signature :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: Which still means he gives more frequent interviews than any other player Plus always better to come when one is doing well, than like a shameless person like you who laughs and makes merry when one's own team and one's own player is not doing well
OriginalCopy Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Oh shut up! You're lucky to be playing for India. If you were playing for Australia' date=' you would have been sidelined when you were poor in a period in last decade. [/size']You decided to be a cricketer. Nobody came and asked you to pick up the bat. You're paid for it. So cut this crap of having a decision of your own to decide. Its India which comes first. You've made India lose Asia cup. You should be replaced by a youngster who's willing to perform for India and not for himself. And whose loss would that have been?
Crookbond Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 But Ponka' date=' dont you see that its the likes of yourself who are putting Sachin on a different scale than other players? [b']When dhoni plays slow and we lose, when Dravid plays slow overall they are not blamed, yet you are able to remember one match and place the blame squarely on one player's head for victory and failure MTC, I can't speak for Ponka but not a lot of posters have pin headed the loss on Sachin. They have called it "one of the reasons" which I think is fair enough. However, not including it as "one of the reasons" is being too lenient on Sachin. Your thoughts?
OriginalCopy Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 my signature :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: You are pathetic, dude. Were you sleeping when SRT won all the games for India? Or perhaps spending all your time on the padosi forum getting yourself brainwashed by all the haters? I am definitely not a SRT worshipper if you even think of going that way and do feel he became way too cautious during his 100 in the Asia Cup, but I really do hate those SOBs who don't appreciate greatness when they see it. I would want someone to ask you the same question when you're a 50 year old doing pretty well at work in a company when a bright 22 year old comes in and some people ask you to retire to make way for that 22 year old. I would love to see your response there!
