Some old budha (white guy) told me that Tindu hardly gives autographs in england because people sell them for money. Are they actually worth anything?

Your thread was in CT when I changed it...then someone moved it to chit chat. Players' names should not be twisted all the time.. once in a while it's ok. Same goes for Dhoni.. no need to call him Dhobi every time he does not perform or whatever.

Two days ago, Tendulkar's painting was sold for $750,000 but it had the handprints of 40 world class players. Some of them were Dhoni, Brian Lara, Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid. I would say just Tendu's autograph could fetch $1000 depending on the memorabilia.

I used to passionately get of all tennis players, but most of them have to sign so many autographs that they just do it so fast, that you can't even make it what they wrote. I started taking pictures now and don't care about autograph. Only autograph which I still cherish is the one by Leander Paes. He signed it on one of my t'shirts which I bought and he signed his full name. and not just L.P or something. Bhupathi also signed on the same shirt.

Saw some old people that had a book with tons of pictures and signatures, must have been collecting their whole life.

I was at a restaurant in Hyderabad called Indijoe and this was during the first ICL season I think, these 3 players were having dinner with their wives/girl-friends...(really hot chicks btw)...I recognised Boje and the other guy looked familiar so I went to their table and got their autographs.....I recognised Kemp after interpreting the autograph but I have no clue who the 3rd guy was till date.

Lol....I put 2 and 2 together and concluded the guy is John van der wath but his pics don't really look like the guy I saw that day apart from being white and his autograph neither clearly gives it away.
