akshayxyz
Nehra was still best choice, esp since Dada has played more cricket with Nehra - he knows & trusts his skills better.
Needforspeed
PWI lost due to 2 overs. The Rahul Sharma over and the last over. Just wasn't our day.
Magneto
Samuels should of been brought for Mathews (18th over?) who went for a few. And, no Rahul Sharma and Samuels are two different types of bowlers. :zelig: Samuels could have easily gotten for a couple of sixes as well :dontknow:
master22
Samuels 2-0-5-1 and yet not given any more overs by dada. What a lame decision.

yoda
All these hindsight arguments aside, a captain needs to see who are his bowlers who are doing well on a given day and try to maximize his resources. I mean 2 overs 5 runs and a wicket and you don't think the guy needs to bowl again the match. WTF!

Zelig
Yo Mahesh's stats b4 the last over against pw were something like 2-12-1' date='still couldnt defend the last over.Samuels could have also failed the same way[/quote'] I'm not talking about the last over. All I'm saying is that Samuels should of been given one more over, maybe the 18th (16 runs), instead of Mathews.

dibyabttb
With the advantage of knowing the result now, many will say that Dada erred by giving Nehra the last over. But Dada didn't have that advantage after the 19th over ended. Samuels is a spinner: too much risk to take in the last over. Nehra on the other hand had bowled good in his previous over taking the all important wicket of Gayle with a brilliant yorker (may be that was his career's best yorker)/ So Nehra was an obvious choice for Dada. Just because the over was the last over, you can't blame Nehra for the loss. Those two scoop shots were almost unavoidable. If you want some bowler to blame, it can be Rahul Sharma. Getting hit for 5 consecutive sixes is not something you would expect from a bowler like Rahul.
