+1.Though we are out now for sure.
Yes. Now the chances are minimal. This team can't chase any score anyway. All the batters (excepting Smith) in piss-poor form.

Ganguly needs to go.Period.
As a batsman, YES! But even if he goes, you wouldn't win any match with Ryder, Uthappa, Samuels and Pandey.

Don't get into herd mentality. Did you even watch the match? :winky:

They should led tamim play..But still cant gurantee that he will be able to do well. when Tamim will hit fours SG will ensure tamim gets run out or creates a run rate pressure so tamim falters..and so on so at the end of the SG is a match winner, for the opposition team :giggle:

bcz he is the pride of Bengal
off course he's the pride of bengal...what other bengali cricketer has ever achieved whatever he has achieved....IPL is just fun cricket...I would any day take his contribution to Indian cricket over his supposed success in IPL

Then do not whine just by looking at the scorecard. He did a good consolidation job but played a few more dot balls as usual. To be blamed partly but not entirely. The team was at 47/4 and could not score 16 in the last 2 overs. Overall, piss-poor batting and this team is going nowhere. The only fun we are gonna have this year from now on is to laugh at the failures of others :((

And your point is?
Clarke should not be made captain in the middle of a series in a form of cricket he's pretty poor at. He's just come to play a few matches; Yuvraj will be captain next year anyway. Any probable captain should be with the team throughout.

These stupid conspiracy theories is what makes debate so distasteful.

I still have faith in this team...we will come back strong in our last remaining matches btw, what happens if we win all remaining matches? do we get to qualify for playoffs?

And the blame is entirely on him for changing and chopping the batting way too often. Uthappa opens one day, bats at 3-4 the other day before being asked to open again, then Pandey opens one day, scores a 80, flops in an innings, is out of the side, Alfonso your best t20 bowler suddenly is dropped for no reason, Kartik keeps coming in and going out of the side. Only one name is permanent on that team sheet :--D

He's his own man, so it's quite irrelevant. He can do whatever he thinks with his own life. The only reason there is some interest in the PWI team this year is SG is their captain. Otherwise Uthappa/or whoever would have been captain and there would have been no interest whatsoever.

You could still get eliminated as couple of teams have the extra point due to rain.
