dibyabttb Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 It was a super debut for Kevon Cooper last night. Kevon Cooper scored 11* off 3 balls including a six and a four and was involved in 7 Kings XI Punjab batsmenÃÔ dismissals out of 9 KXIP wickets. Apart from taking 4 wickets giving away only 26 runs of his 4 overs, Cooper also took two catches and ran one batsman out. Rajasthan Royals had bought Cooper at his base price of $50000 at this yearÃÔ players auction. :hmmm:
Needforspeed Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Too early to say...But for $ 50,000, he has to be a bargain, especially with millions spend on people like Jaddu & Vinay Kumar.
achilles Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Too early to say that. I think Marlon Samuels and Kevon Cooper are both equal shrewd buys. But only time will tell.
Executioner Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Ive seen this guy play in BPL, he was very ordinary there but perhaps he was off form at the time. but he is a different kind of bowler, one of those few 6 foot 5 bowler who bowls slower than afrdi.
Crookbond Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Mumbai Indians have a good amount of shrewd buys.
someone Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Mumbai Indians have a good amount of shrewd buys. Not shrewd buys. Rather $$$ power.
Crookbond Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Not shrewd buys. Rather $$$ power. There are shrewd buys as well amongst the dollars.
someone Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 There are shrewd buys as well amongst the dollars. Such as? If you are gonna say Levi, then I would say it is too early.
VRV Singh Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 They ran a poal in the middle of his first match, after he had taken a regulation catch or something. Bunch of loons. I am sure some sub. $200k players will begin to show great value, especially in a market where Chawla (hit for most sixes in IPL history :hatsoff:) costs $900k
Texy Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Cooper single handedly changing fortunes for RR :hatsoff:
bangladeshifan Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 he was very ordinary in bpl for chittagong kings
SLICKR392 Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Wasn't convinced in the first match, but he looks good. Varies his pace brilliantly.
Serani Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 he was very ordinary in bpl for chittagong kings Well its obvious isnt it? BPL > IPL.
