Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 But SA always used to win all their matches in group stages and then choke. The pakis on the other hand don't look that good and somehow sneak/fluke their way in and then get found out.
Tiger80 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 They seem to be the new South Africa. :hehe: People use to say South Africa choke because they group stages and use to loose it in knock out game. Now neither SA nor Pak look like invincible teams
Number Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 They nearly defeated Australia in semis world T20 2010 though. But they choke because of crap batting.
Crookbond Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I would agree with the sneak theory. In my books, they are good enough but not good enough. It would be wrong to suggest they are "found out" though. 2007 - They met NZ in the SF and proved to be a cakewalk 2010 - They were beaten by a freak Hussey innings 2012 - They were really "found out" I would hold my horses for the "found out" part but yes they do manage to "sneak in" one way or the other.
cowboysfan Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 they would have won if they were defending a target, its really tough to chase here in the later part of the tournament.
AbhishekS Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 He is just a passionate cricketer. May be passionate, but he indeed is over-acting. He knows that he is in good form and others aren't and so he is doing is best to showcase that HE IS THE BEST. By doing such stuff, he is actually losing respect from me. But then, this is just my view. Others' views may differ.
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 they would have won if they were defending a target' date='its really tough to chase here in the later part of the tournament.[/quote'] In other words Pakis choke while chasing :haha:
jairamesh Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Good diagnosis from Dileep. When India won in 2007, their sixes tally for the Super Eights was 19, with Yuvraj contributing seven during a virtuoso performance against England. In the semifinal against Australia, they walloped 10 more, with Yuvraj accounting for five. Obviously sixes is not be all and end all. But how can you expect to win a tournament with such low count of sixes for competition defined by power hitting. The number of Yuvraj's sixes in 2007 just shows the difference it can make. We were 12 sixes short compared to 2007! those are massive amount of runs. Our strength is our batting and we simply didn't have the final "oomph" as Dileep put it. We never had batting collapse, but we never had that 70-90 runs in the last six overs.
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Con'on yaar U_G. This is now far fetched. Crying or no crying, what makes you feel that only he was the most dejected? Gambhir's face was also pretty down. This just does not make any sense. He's just the favourite of the crowd right now and hence gets the benefits of doubts. BTW, I myslef enjoy Kohli's batting, but cant stand these far fetched things. Not saying he was the only one who was dejected. Simply said he looked that way as he was dejected at India not making t to semis and pointed out the difference between Kohli & Kambli's reactions.
jairamesh Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 It's T20, the gap between mediocrity is lessened. This Paki batting line-up in ODIs and Tests would be worse then Bangla. They should be thankful Ajmal is allowed merrily chuck his way to wickets.

They should be thankful Ajmal is allowed merrily chuck his way to wickets. Couple of his deliveries in his last over, especially his last ball, were blatant chucks. Can't figure out how umpires/ICC allow him to get away with such blatant chucks.
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Look at these tools And Pakis call themselves "classy" :cantstop: Raina was spot on calling them "shameless". Kohli has @$$ r@*ed Pakis single-handedly and this is what the Pakis are coming out with :hysterical:
jind Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Look at these tools That's despicable.... do they even know Kohli's dad has passed away
Bazingaxd Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 49 needed on 36 balls with 6 wickets in hand?fluked to get so closer? We could have won don't you think?if anything we lack mental toughness to finish the game on a winning note..2010 semi final and now this..
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 That's despicable.... do they even know Kohli's dad has passed away  Knowing "hinduon ki zehneeyat" Pakis, I am sure that's what made them do it. And they are calling Raina "classless" for his tweet :hysterical: I am sure pakis wouldn't see irony even if hit them in the face with a barn door :haha:
Crookbond Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 What does that even mean? Are they referring to Tendulkar ?

But "lacking mental toughness to finish the game on a winning note" is exactly what choking is, don't you think :dontknow:
Ultimate_Game Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 What does that even mean? Are they referring to Tendulkar ? That's Paki "class" for you is all I can say :cantstop:
