I sincerely think that UMESH Or AARON are genuine fast bowlers and We should always Back them - when Good Coaches are Hired they would improve these bowlers.

This We never back pace bowlers, while other countries do

Wasim Akram said you can't bowl effective Yorkers without good pace. So apparently we don't have any bowler in the line up who can bowl yorkers. That's just poor if you see from T20 perspective.

I dont know why we dont back the speedsters. balaji and crapthan go round the park regularly yet are backed and peseerved with, as soon a a pacer goes for runs its the "he has no control blah blah" Crpathan and balji will get lined up and smoked when they face decent players and teams. We have a terrible pace attack for this tournament

Balaji is a disgrace to cricket. Still living of that tour to pak yonks ago when he did sort of ok. Crapthan is rubbish and still living of that ball to gilly. BCCI arranged some kind of reuninon, combined with another heartfelt pick of an obeses Yuvraj.

Balaji is dreadful and crapthan is pants. It like some weird reunion party of when our pace attack was pop gun. p.s I dont call what we have a pace attack. Balaji is worse then crapthan, thats how bad he is. Selectors are a disgrace and pick team in some attempt to create a warm heart felt story

Bala Ji looks as good a Fielder as Zaheer Khan. DO u guys beleive that ZAK is 33 becos I suppose his fitness is as good ( or bad) as Sachin who is 40. yesterday Bala ji and zak were jogging while running behind a ball, in a t 20 one needs sprinters on the field as we may have 1 run win or loss also..........DINDA is a far better fielder and even a bowler.......i hope bala ji's mystery ball of slow bouncers is not Sorted by batters else he will be killed. pathan is the GENUINE ALL ROUNDER India have and we shud play him as the fifth bowler.

If Crapthan in this format is going to play as 5th bowler/stroke bits and pieces all rounder, I can live with that. But not a frontline bowler. At least crapthan can run in the filed. Balaji is just rubbish at everything. It should be noted Balaji is from the south!!!

Felt bad for them, they could have beaten us had they held on to some catches and if Nabi stayed for a little more while. They have the talent, just need grooming and experience at international level. Here's hoping that they beat England!

i think the culprit are 2- 1. DHONI who is a blind supporter of SPINNERS or slow medium pacers............i dont understand why cant he train and show the same faith on fast bowlers. 2. INDIAN flat tracks who do not support these pacers and when these genuine fast bowlers like umesh and Varun aaron are belted for runs- they are blamed and Selectors do not value them and even vk pk and bala ji are valued ahead of these genuine fast bowlers

Yeah. None of our front-line bowlers barring Ashwin and maybe pathan give us the confidence. Part timers like Yuvi, Raina are better than Balaji. Dunno whats wrong with Zak. Hopefully he will come good against England.

It still got the better of your legendary chokers (Sanga, lady jaya, dilshan) in ODI Series in 2007,08,09, WC Final, CB Series, Asia Cup, ODI in SL, T20 in SL, even the warm up T20 in SL... :finger::finger: but i understand, even I'd hate any team which beats my team so often, n gives no respite whether its home n away :--D

We are certainly missing the LEGEND.. Also missing Aaron, he's a good Limited overs bowler (much accurate than UY)... But 'Tics pa'aji, the team also needs atleast 5 bowlers. Because of the 2 Delhi Duds openers, Dhoni is forced to play additional batsmen as the two joker openers either have some agenda/score to settle with Dhoni or are completely irresponsible..

I am glad that Umesh Yadav is not playing in this tournament. Unless he establishes himself at the test level, he should not even be playing the ODIs regularly. A few matches here and there are fine but not every match. We did that with Ishant and have almost ruined his career. Also looking at the selections of Zak, Bhajji, Balaji etc, its quite clear that the team management had specifically asked for bowlers 'with experience', irrespective of how bad they have been ,for this tournament.
